Fifth Floor Common Room, Sunday Morning

Disturbing dreams woke Bel early, so he wandered into the common room in hopes of finding someone cooking breakfast. Alas, the room was empty. He sprawled on the couch, flipping on the TV and settling on "Eternal Champion."

If one more person emo-ed at him, he was going to throw them off the roof for real.

"Just depends on how poetic you are or something," Cally said. "So, what's on the TV, anyways?"

"Eternal Champion," Bel said. "Angsty werewolf atoning for his crimes as a private detective."

"Greeeat. Angst," Cally said, chomping on more cereal. "Just what I need."

"There's a hot female werewolf," Bel pointed out. "Who likes to wear revealing clothes. And she has a brain, too. So does the doctor. 'Cause I know you like that."

Cally rolled her eyes but chuckled. "Thanks," she said. "I appreciate it. I'm glad you're finally, like, makin' the effort."

"You're welcome," Bel said. "Sometimes I try."

"So... need any help with super special anniversary plans?" Cally offered. She wasn't all that interested in the TV show. Even if there was a pretty girl.

"Dunno what we're gonna do," Bel said. "Dr. Wilson gave me some money so I can take her out to dinner."

Cally blinked. "Weeeeeeird. Why would he do that?"

"Because I don't have much cash and he's like Phoebe's big brother?" Bel said.

"He is?" Cally said. "Crazy. Like, literally? Like an uncle or something?"

"No, they're just pretty close," Bel said, shrugging.

Cally nodded. "Okie-doke," she said. "So... no super plans for me to help with. Damn."

"Got any suggestions?" Bel said. "I'm new at this."

"I didn't really make it to a big anniversary," Cally said. "I'm not exactly an expert myself. I think, you know, it should be something you'll both really enjoy."

Bel frowned. "She'll just say 'whatever you want' to me."

"Do you think you have a good idea of what she likes? I mean, I think you must, given the time you've had together, but yeah, do ya?" Cally asked.

"She likes Cindrella a lot," Bel said. "It's her favorite fairy tale. But where am I gonna get a horse drawn carriage around here?"

"We do have witches," Cally said. "Or there's rental services. Or... there's the Danger Shop."

"Do they rent horse drawn carriages?" Bel said skeptically.

"Erm... if you can get a carriage we could probably convince Pippi to lend us Old Man," Cally said.

"Maybe I could find a spell to magick a pumpkin into a carriage," Bel mused.

"Hey, that might work," Cally said. "We should totally look into that. And... erm, I dunno about the whole Cinderella thing, myself."

"It's a fairy tale," Bel said. "A girl who is forced by her wicked stepmother to be a maid gets her wishes granted by a fairy godmother to go to the ball and meet a handsome prince. And they live happily ever after."
