Marty is sitting in the lunge reading the instructions to his ouija board and scoffing. "Yeah right. Like that's supposed to work."

As Marty fiddles with the ouija board set up, the TV is currently showing the musical episode of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker.

"Cally is going to homecoming with the old shop teacher?" Marty asked Nadia as the pointer went to "Yes."

"Noooo, with the computer girl. Different Mac." Nadia nodded. So far, this was good news. "Okay, you ask it something."

"Am I better than Veronica at picking locks?" Marty asked.

The pointer appeared to be heading to "Yes."

Then it seemed to pause, as though the spirits (or Nadia) had another idea.

"Guess they're not sure."

The planchette seems to be pushing the other way towards "Yes" again.

"No... I think they are trying to say something!"

But, alas, it stopped again. "Ooooo, they're definitely not sure."

There seems to be a lot of pressure on the plastic doohickey right now.

"No. No. I'm prettry sure they know what to say."

But there was just about as much in the other direction.

Then there wasn't, as the pointer seemed to want to over-shoot the yes and point at Nadia instead.

"Maybe it thinks I'm a better lockpick than both of you?"
