Bel sat on the couch in the common room, idly making a list. Carriage. Horse. Flowers. Dinner reservations. Jewelry.

Now where was he going to find a pair of glass shoes?

Jude shrugged, slouching into a chair and taking up way more space than a guy his size had any right to. "Not much. You?"

"Making plans for Homecoming," Bel said. "I want it to be a special night for Phoebe."

"Does Old Man mind pulling a carriage, and if he doesn't, can I borrow him?" Bel asked.

Anders wandered up to the fifth floor. What? All those stairs were exercise.

"What're you doing, dude?"

"Making a list," Bel said. "Figuring out what I need to do for Homecoming."

"You need a list for this sort of thing?" asked Anders. "Seriously?"

"It's gonna be a special night," Bel said defensively. "I want to make sure I get all the details right."

"Hey guys," he says, flopping down on a couch.

"Bridge. Hey, dude," Anders says, heading over to ruffle his best friend's hair.

"Eep!" Bridge says, putting his hands up over his head protectively.

"Hey, like I'd hurt you?" asks Anders. "It was either that or a big crushing tacklehug."
