Fifth floor common room, Wednesday afternoon after classes

Nadia hadn't worked on her adventure story in a little while. But she was typing away furiously at it now, occasionally reaching up to rub at her eye.

Not because she was crying, of course. She just had something in her eyes.

At present, Sophia was beating the crap out of two mobsters, Blaine and Bill, who'd been spreading rumors about her relationship with Mario that she didn't appreciate.

Blaine and Bill, of course, never stood a chance.

"I think I saw him. Dressed like some sort of monster."

"Uh huh. I was just playing along, and suddenly he's all like 'people think you're a slut. Slut, slutslutslutslutslut.'"

Pip blinked. "That definitely doesn't sound like Blair. You sure that was exactly what he said?"

"...He suggested that you were probably a slut? He wasn't sure?"

"'People probably think you're a slut.' That's what he said. Then things like 'this is why there's that rumor that you're a slut'."

"Was it a reference to something or did he just like... randomly decide to tell you that people think you're a slut?"

"I don't know, he was just being an ass!"

Pip blinked. "Hm. That sounds really bizzare. I don't think Blair's capable of being an ass."

"People will surprise you," Nadia said darkly.

No one had told her that Blair was wrong though. People must really think she's a slut. She sniffled more.

"Did you ask him what he meant?" Pip asked.

[nadiathesaint]

"He called me a slut!" Why weren't people getting angry for her? "I didn't sit around going 'oh, hm, what did you mean by that?'"

"Well," Pip said as he pulled out a frying pan, "I'm just trying to understand what happened. I mean, it seems out of character, to me, that Blair would say such a thing. I'm not saying you're lying, I just want to figure out if there's a misunderstanding going on."

"The miscommunication is that Blair is an idiot and people think I'm a slut!"

"I don't think you're a slut," Pip said. "Did more people than Blair tell you this?"

"Everyone keeps going 'oh em gee' and then asking a bunch of questions but no one says he was wrong!"

Pip blinked. "Do you want us to reassure you you aren't a slut? I thought you'd know better for yourself."

"Well sometimes a girl just wants to hear it!"

Great, now Pip thought she was stupid, too.

"Forget it. I'm just going to go."
