Salle, 3rd Period - Lunch
Conner had spent a couple of hours the night before putting together a workout-music playlist that most decidedly did not consist of 80's training-montage songs. A lot of the stuff on it would probably cause people to quirk an eyebrow at him and go, "Why exactly do you think that's a good workout song?" What it came down to in the end was that he thought these particular songs had a good tempo and rhythm for what he wanted to do.
So he set up camp in the salle, retrieved his not-exactly-Thundermax Saber from the locker, and started to go through a few drills to the accompaniment of the music playing on his laptop, which was carefully stowed in a corner.
He was really hoping for a lack of interruption; there were more embarrassing bubblegum pop hits and boy-band singles on that playlist than he'd realized, and . . . yeah.
[OOC: Open -- while Conner may want to avoid embarrassment, what fun is that?]

The pop music had her kind of frozen at the door as she entered, for a moment. Who the hell was bastardizing her sacred training ground with that crap?

Nervous chuckling. Lots of it. No flailing, though, luckily; flailing with a sword in hand == bad.

Yuunagi won out, hands down. She placed poor Daisuke back in the locker. He was so neglected...

Doing this blind was a bad idea, though; even though he did manage to turn the volume down a couple of notches, he also managed to skip ahead to the Jessica Simpson portion of the playlist.
Wow, any more blushing and he'd suffer total blood loss to all his other extremities. "Wow, uh, how did this stuff get onto my computer?"

He reversed his grip on the sword and tried a backhand strike. "Got anybody coming in that weekend?"

"I...I'm not sure," she said. "I mean, I don't have any parents, but it does make me wonder if they've contacted my guardians about it..."
Would they have contacted the Shinmei Ryuu? Or perhaps Elder Konoe, because he was financing her education. And if Elder Konoe came, then maybe...
Setsuna's eyes widened. Ojou-sama.
That stunned thing she did at the door? Yeah, totally doing it again now.

"Sorry," he said lamely. "I didn't mean to bring up a sore subject or anything . . . "
[OOC: Class, woe! No prob. :)]

Though she still wasn't sure if she wanted them to.
[[ it was vampire class; not nearly as woeful, ha ]]

"You okay, man? You seem a little jumpy."
Pot, kettle, sure, but still.

What? Around here there could be more than one. It was a moot point anyway.
"'cause I haven't, yet, but do you want me to keep an eye out?"
