Outside the Dorms; Late Saturday Night.

Chad had returned to his late night, probably more than just a little bit creepy stalking around the town, and lingered a little around the outside of the dormitory upon returning.

No, he won't tell you what he was doing. No matter how much you asked.

Especially since it was all mostly just thinking, and nothing particularly bad ass or devlish at all. Although what he was thinking about made him feel pretty bad ass, anyway.

Pulling his jacket around himself a little tighter, Chad took a moment to lean on a tree, one foot propping up against it, and looking up toward the cloudy sky. A little chilly tonight, but he didn't mind. It was nice. He closed his eyes a moment, enjoyed the quiet of the night. Homecoming had been pretty damn good to him...

Mizu's been holding it for too long. Ranma's been TRYING to potty train him with a REAL toliet but... so far it's been unsucessful. So he still has to take his doggy out. He doesn't even notice Chad, he's taking this puppy on a walk in total zombie mode.

It probably didn't help that Chad's bulking dark shadow seemed to merge into that of the tree. But he eventually opened his eyes again to look back up at the sky when he noticed someone else out and about.

Oh. Ranma...

He considered, briefly, not saying anything and continue to be unnoticed, because he remembered Ranma said he needed some time and all that, but he figured that, if that were still the case, Chad's say hi, he'd tell him so much, and then there you have it.

"Oi, Ranma," he said, lifting a hand in a wave although the shadows probably hit it. "Hey."

Ranma freezes. Was that...? No.. Mizuuuuuuuu noooooooooooo. Puppy scampers to meet Chad's feets.

"Hey, there, Mizu," Chad smiled down at the dog a bit, nudged playfully at him with the square toe of his boot. No immediate crouching and scritching, in the occation that Ranma would want to leave and then just leave Chad half-fulfilled on cute pet time. Better to just not start it up, just in case.

Ranma still can't really move, he stares at his feet.

Hm. Ranma was still doing the quiet thing, then. Chad looked at him with his head down for a moment before looking toward Mizu, cocking his head in Ranma's direction. "Go on, Mizu; there's plenty of other trees around here to piss on that don't have Mexicans people don't want to talk to hanging around..."

//Master...// Mizu whined at Ranma an tugged at his leash.
Ranma followed to pull of him puppy, because he's even his dog's bitch. ~~*rimshottt*~~
//'S a pretty nice night... lil chilly though...//

//"Ah. So your vocal chords are still in tact. Good. Was gettin' worried."//

Ranma couldn't help but shake his shyness to give him a glare. //Don't mess with me.//

Chad scratched the back of his neck. Shit. Ranma'd done his thinking, and the thinking didn't turn out well on the Chad issue. In a way, Chad kinda wondered how he thought it could have. Usually, 'I'm a guy stuck as a girl getting macked on by a big giant Mexican' doesn't go over very well. Generally speaking.

//"Sorry,"// he said, keeping his eyes down on the puppy licking his boot.

Ranma only meant to say that about the joke he made so he doesn't really know that Chad thinks he's totally regecting him. //Look. I jus' ain't in the mood fer a joke.//

Chad bobbed his head in a nod. //"That's cool. It's why I apologized..."//

//I... ain't really good with stuff like this. In case ya can't tell. So jus'... don't always listen ta me.//

Chad grunted. Yeah, that made things a little easier to help him decode Ranma....

//"What if I decide to start not listening to you by not listening to the part about not listening?"//

Seeing as the phrasing of that in Japanese would be HORRIBLE AMOUNTS OF CONFUSING Ranma looks lost. //... Wha..?//

Chad tapped his nose. //"Exactly."//

Sigh... Why does he like someone who's so... goofy!? Chad SEEMS normal. Until you start getitng him to be as talkative as he was to Ranma. Goofy. Just like... himself... He looks at Chad a little bit, the slightest, tinyest bit, endearingly.

Chad looked at Ranma...well, toward him. He couldn't quite see very well in the dark and the poor light being given off from the scattered lamps. He was trying to think of something to say but...couldn't. Usually, he was grateful for moments like these, finding them perfect excuses for remaining quiet. But, right now, it seemed that what made him usually so comfortable made him feel terribly awkward.

//"So...."// He had to say something....

//I found out there's a cure for this heat sensitive thing.... But 's really rare. So I don't know if 'll find it...//

//"Ya did?"// Chad's head tilted. //" What'd'ya find out?"//

//This... Phoenix Pill. It makes ya able ta withstand heat, like a phoenix can survive the fire on it's body.// See? He WAS listening to Yue the best he could!

"Huh." Chad grunted a bit. //"And I take it you can't just go to the local pharmacy and request a perscription..."//

//You're still messin' with me. Quit it. I told ya I ain't in the mood.... I might not find it...// His face looks a bit striken at the end.

Chad winced a bit. He hadn't meant to make another joke, he really hadn't. He hadn't even realized he had until just then.

//"I'm sure you will. If you can find that it exists, that's half the searching."//

He paused, looking at Ranma thoughtful. //"I can get in touch with Ichigo back home and he can ask Hat-and-Clogs about it. It sounds like something he'd have in his shop."//

He tried not to imagine them arriving with those little candy dispensers that Rukia seemed way, way too into for those one pills that...you know, Chad couldn't remember what she had them for, because the dispensers were just too cute and were all he remembered.

//Sure... I don't mind where 's from I jus' wanna change back...// This is Mizu glaring at Chad for ignoring him for so long. He barks.
