Fourth floor common room, Saturday morning

Jude was looking not at all sulky that some of his best and most tasty creations had been commercialised. He was also certainly not looking sulky because a certain someone who could get the same reaction out of Setsuna that he did was here. In fact, Jude didn't look sulky at all.

Not. At. All.

He was just here, in the common room, indulging in his weekly ritual of cartoon-watching, and working on his pancakebab technique. He was going for interesting shapes as well as more traditional blobs. He found squiggles worked quite well but gave him the irresistable urge to yell "Snakes onna stick!"

Willow was lured by the scent of pancakes which her mun was craving liek woah. "Morning, Jude! Any hope those are for sharing?"

"These are totally for sharing, bra!" Jude greeted her cheerfully, waving a squiggly pancake onna stick at her with one hand as he flipped another with his other.

"Oo - on a stick!" Willow said, appreciatively. "Thank you. How do we handle the syrup situation? My gut tells me dipping, but you're the expert."

Jude ceremoniously handed over the stick and pointed towards a bowl of syrup already on hand for such an eventuality.

"Hey." Billy greeted Willow, feeling awkward for some reason. Possibly his attempt to leave without saying goodbye.

"Hey little bro," Willow said. "Want a pancake on a stick? Jude's making plenty."

"Pancake...on a stick. Uh, yeah sure."

Coffee and phone still in hand...s, Buffy hiked up the stairs to head back to her sister's room. Of course, nothing really looked exactly the same as it did last night, so she poked her head into the common room and asked, "Which way's 328?"

"Down a floor and - " Willow paused, then frowned. "Buffy?"

Buffy blinked in response, stepping into the room. "Willow?" Yes, she was checking. From now on, anyone who looked familiar was expected to say their name straight off.

"Yep, Willow," she said with a nod. And, okay, sure there was a Buffy at this school but this one seemed thinner less boobed different somehow. "Are you - um. Did you get a little older this weekend?"

"Hey, bra. You totally got the wrong floor, though." Jude held up a pancakebab. "Pancake?"

"Yes, it is," she said. "Hey, you don't have a doppleganger in Sunnydale I don't know about, do you?" She had to check.

Jude blinked. "Where's Sunnydale?"

"Hey Buffy." Billy said. Then narrowed his eye. She looked, more mature than last he saw her.

Buffy was in dire need of food fortification before meeting her mother again, so she followed the smell of pancakes. "Good morning!" she beamed, then asked hopefully, "Pancakes?"

Oh, god. There was her own voice. Buffy turned around, looked at the other Buffy, and greeted her with, "Deja vu. Wow."

Buffy stared. Then she looked down her-other-self. She frowned. "Where's my boobs?" This was a completely reasonable reaction to meeting an older version of herself. At least she still had good hair.

Buffy looked down at her own chest, completely unable to help herself. "I have boobs!" she said. No, she didn't. "You chewed my strappy shoes!"

Billy looked from Buffy to Buffy and held his head with one hand. "Oy."

Billy had wound up sleeping late, due to having trouble getting to sleep the night before. Therefore he may have missed the pancakes, but hopefully not the company.

No such luck. There are plenty of deliciously pancakey breakfast foods on sticks available.

Jude waved one at him. "Dude! Food?"

Billy held up the one Willow had offered him. "I'm almost certain of it." he answered.
