Fifth Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

After picking up Marie at the clinic, Bel flopped on the common room couch and idly flipped through the channels on the TV until he landed on what appeared to be a soft-core porn movie. Starring a chick who looked remarkably like Phoebe. And it was all about vampires. And lesbians.

Life was good.

Anders came down the hall from Marie and Willow's room (http://touchablemarie.livejournal.com/11912.html?thread=264584#t274824) and stuck his head into the common room. "Anyone seen my Pyramid ball?"

Bel's attention was firmly (so to speak) on the TV. "Huh? What?"

"I said, you haven't seen my --" Anders's gaze landed on the TV. "What the hell are you watching?"

"Uh, some movie that's on for Halloween or something," Bel said. "Something about vampires."

Cally came into the common room, was about to say something, saw what was on the TV, and wordlessly joined Bel on the couch, smiling.

Bel scooted over to make room. "This movie's...cool."

"My ass it's about vampires," snorted Anders. "That is so not a bloodsucking kind of neck bite."

Cally nodded. "You know, I don't even think you need to fill me in on the plot."

"And that's not exactly her neck," Bel pointed out. He peered at the remote, wishing it had a zoom function.

"I'm not sure it really does have a plot," Bel said, tilting his head at the screen. "Um, there's a girl, and a vampire, and, um, lesbians!"

"Okay, is it just me, or does the main character look kinda like Phoebe?" Cally said, tilting her head.

"Yeah, she does," Bel said. "But Phoebe has this cute little birthmark on her...whoa, can they do that on TV?"

"Are we gonna complain?" Cally said, eyes affixed on the TV.

Anders stared at the screen. "Damn right it's not. Where do you find these things?"

"No," Bel murmured. "In fact, we should write letters of thanks."

Nadia wandered in with her laptop, attempting to type one handed as she went. She wasn't trying NHS this time. She'd learned her lesson.

Bel grinned. "Just lucky, I guess. Oh, damn, she's putting her clothes back on. We'll see how long that lasts."

"Hey," Bel said, attention still totally on the TV.

"Oh yeah," Bel said, nodding. A lot. "I so need to get this on DVD."

Nadia hadn't looked at the TV yet. She was nearly into a computer that just might have information for Walter.

"How's it going?"

"Depends on how much movie's left." Anders eyed the screen for a moment, then shuddered. "You do realize this is giving me really scarring flashbacks to the crazy psych teacher and I really, really don't want to picture . . . oh gods."
