Sixth Floor Hallway, Evening

Hamlet lead the way down the stairs from the roof to the sixth floor. Somehow it seemed even emptier than usual tonight.

"Earl should be in one of these many empty rooms down here. There's currently no one else on this floor but Earl, and Mr Canute Mimir Fluffypants, and I, but try to still not make too much of a mess."

[OOC: Locked to the group from the roof.]

"Mr. Canute what?"

Billy laughed. "Well if he didn't object."

"Do we know which room he's in, or do we just start searching?"

"He used to be in a room that looked like an African savannah. But, uh...I'm not sure if he's moved on from there."

"No, that'd take too long. I'm pretty sure it was 66...something. Maybe."

"Good to know," Phoebe nodded as she reached for a door to... "I don't suppose he talks and can answer me if I knock?"

"So we should just start opening random doors?" Rory asked, a little bit nervously.

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
Rory looked at doors 664 and 666. "Want to try one of those? Or should we go back to 661 and go in order?"

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
"As long as we check 'em all, it doesn't matter what order." He grinned. "Besides, how can you not want to open 666?"

Men.

"Okay I was about to ask why this floor had so few residents, but I think the answer would be, this floor is freaky?"

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
"Freaky, but cool. There's this one room where the furniture is huge. It's being in Jack and the Beanstalk."

[identity profile] bookyeve.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
"Truly? How wonderful! Can we visit it?"

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't remember which one it is. You should meet a guy called Bridge, though. He comes up here all the time. I think he's keeping track of what's where."

"I met him the night we found Door up here," Evie said, her voice more subdued. Which she'd forgotten until then. "It is... safe, with all of us here, isn't it?"

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Sure, piece of cake. It's as safe up here as anywhere in Fandom."

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
"This is your territory. Lead the way!"

[identity profile] bookyeve.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
Evie was still hyped up, so she closed her eyes, spun in a circle and stopped when she got dizzy. "There!" She opened her eyes to find she was pointing at the door to Room 666. "Have you been in there before?"

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2006-10-25 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
Kawalsky took a look around over Hamlet's shoulder. "Not what I was expecting."

Phoebe was beginning to get the slight warnings of a headache but she ignored it for now to look around. "This is not the usual Dorm room."

"Okay, uh, I'm gonna guess from, the few horror movies I've seen, that any book found in a room numbered 666? Nobody read that sucker outloud."
