Front lawn of the school, Wednesday evening

Jude had finally found a use for all those books his parents had sent him. He'd also found a use for those few pieces of plywood he had found lying around. And a convenient bench.

If he stuck this, it would be truly righteous.

Jude felt that there should be music of some sort. A cape. He definitely needed a cape. Luckily, he still had the plaid blanket from last week's movie crammed into the bottom of his backpack. He took his position about ten feet away, got set, and took off.

The casual observer would have seen a caped figure sailing up a very high and very precarious ramp. They would have also seen that ramp start to disintegrate underneath his wheels, creating a trajectory much different than the one he had intended. With this trajectory, there was a tree in the way.

Jude hit the ground in a crumpled heap.

"Haaaaaarsh," he whimpered.

[[My ankle is sprained. Thus, Jude must be horribly injured. It makes sense in my head. Anyone want to help?]]

"You want me to take you to the infirmary or something...?" She's used to the strange skater talk. She's lived too close to California all her life.

Matilda smiles in her most comforting manner, and seeing as she's so adorable, it might help..? "I'm going to lift you up okay?"

Matilda waves her hand a bit and Jude slowly starts to rise off the ground. "I'm not hurting anything right? I'll move you slower if I am."

"Good. I'll try to move you carrfully then." He might notice this feels a bit like a car ride where there's no bumps.
