Cheerleading, Gym, Afternoon

Buffy had decided to be nice and let people recouperate from yesterday, so she didn't push the practice forth until noon, but kept it at the normal time. When people had arrived, she clapped her hands for attention.

"Okay! I hope you've had a good look at the contests folders I gave you last time, because today we're going to have a vote!"

She handed out two pieces of papers to everyone. "You write yes or no on these and then put them in the right pile." She pointed at the two sheets of paper on the ground. One said 'Virginia', to other said 'CrossWorld'.

"When you've done that, we're going to start practicing. I'd like you to join up three and three and work on basing, spotting and flying. You can change around if you like, but make sure to always follow the safety rules!"

Nadia had figured she ought to stop by the cheerleading practice and see if she was still the mascot. And if so, if there was a way of avoiding wearing the gremlin mask ever again.

Jamie had pretty decent experience as both a spotter and a base from last summer. As he stretched out he looked around to see who might join him.
