Room 666 - Friday Night

A small group had gathered in the Sixth Floor Common Room and readied themselves. Hamlet, taking the lead in a way that would have made his father proud, informed them all of the situation and what had been found after some library research. Hamlet was mildly amused that it took a soul-devouring supreme evil being to urge him into making a decision, but he decided not to give it too much thought.

Weapons were troublesome considering there were cameras in the public areas, so all they had were things they could conceal and that might not necessarily be considered conventional weapons.

There was no telling what could be used to take down this thing.

They had no idea what to expect, but they were all willing to step up and fight it.

The group headed down to Room 666 and Hamlet placed his hand on the doorknob.

He swung open the door and walked in. Others followed, with Kawalsky bringing up the rear and holding on firmly to the door in case it had any ideas.

It did have ideas. The door was wrenched from Kawalsky's hand by an unnatural force and slammed hard behind them.

They were trapped in this room that now looked a lot bigger than it had before, but they weren't alone.

Something was alive in here. They could hear it breathing.

[OOC: Locked to the baddie-hunting gang, or ping me to join in. Wait for OCD. Go for it.]

Kawalsky kept jiggling the door handle, using all of his strength to to try to open it again. It wouldn't budge.

"No kidding."

Kawalsky stepped back and tried kicking at the door. It looked like wood, but considering all he ended up doing was making his foot hurt, it was a lot stronger than that.

He gave up for the moment and turned back around. "I don't remember this place being so big. Or dark. Or spooky."

Kawalsky moved further into the room and looked around. The only light came from the window, but further inspection showed that the window didn't actually lead outside into Fandom. There was no telling where it led, just that it was providing some light into the otherwise gloomy room.

"No light switch," he noted.

"Helpful." Kawalsky frowned. "Your floor, your call."

"It's just the window. There's nothing out there and it's jammed shut. We could try to break the glass if we have to, but it doesn't look like it leads anywhere that I can see."

"Door won't budge, window won't budge and I'm fresh out of things that go 'boom' in the night. Let's take a look around."
