Around the Dorms, Monday Morning

JD can be seen struggling with a very large, oddly shaped package as he tries to get it up to the 5th floor. It's wrapped in brown paper and lots of packing tape, which obscures it's shape, but aside from being awkward to carry, it's apparently a rather heavy. Heaven only knows how he managed to drag it this far from the post office.

"Come on, that's a boy. Let's get you home, buddy."

((OOC: Open, if anyone wants to give JD a hand. Once he gets it back to his room or the common room, he'll probably open it.))

Buffy was on her way down when she ran into JD. "Hi! What are you doing?"

JD was panting slightly as he set his gigantic package down.

"Trying to get this guy upstairs to the 5th floor."

Buffy looked at the package, then at JD. "Have you dragged it all the way from town?"

JD stood up straight, trying to keep from panting. Unfortunately, he couldn't make his face any less flushed.

"Yeah. Shipping doesn't include delivery, unfortunately. It's not that bad though. Just a bit of a jaunt, really."

Unforunately for JD, his attempt at machismo failed. Completely.

Pip blinked as he cae down the stairs and saw JD dragging the package along. "Hey, need a hand with that?"

JD glanced at Pip, and, still not over his initial bitterness, started to daydream momentarily.

"Sure, Pip. I'd love a hand." JD grinned sinisterly, cryptic music sounding in the background.

"What was that?"

JD shrugged. "Gremlins, I'm sure. So, about that hand?"

Pip reached out to touch the package when it growled menacingly and shuddered. As Pip tried to reach back, it opened to reveal rows and rows of sharp teeth, severing Pips hand and devouring it.

"Thanks for the hand, Pip. Mwahahaha!"

JD smiled pleasantly at Pip.

"Sure," JD paused, glancing at Buffy, mindful of his repuation, "not that I need one, mind you. But the help would be appreciated."

"I can help too," Buffy said cheerfully, possibly completely destroying JD's manly image.

Pip knelt down by the package. "I can get this end?"

JD flinched inwardly, but the rubbery feeling in his arms kept him from protesting, secretly hoping that "this end" really did bite Pip's arm off.

"Uh, sure. It'll be a group effort. Like a dynamic... trio."

Buffy picked up the other end easily. "Where are we taking this?"

JD considered this. The common room was closer, but he'd already had a bed and everything set up in his room. Still, he'd like to introduce his new friend to everyone as soon as possible. Gotta make the new guy feel welcome and all.
