Fourth Floor Common Room; Tuesday Afternoon.
Setsuna was hungover. She was cranky. She had been a crow already today and couldn't stand being in her room because there was far too much Jude-ness in there, since, on top of being hungover, cranky, and post-crow, she was also suddenly single. She needed hot tea and a corner of the couch to curl up in and mope in, pronto. So that's what she did. Sitting quietly, cuddled up around her mug, staring disenchantedly at the blank television screen.
She was hoping she put off enough of an aura of emo and hate to ward off too much happiness from trying to enter the room.
[[ open, as common rooms are. I disappear in a bit for a class, but I'll be back after that ]]

"Hey," she said, sitting down near Setsuna. "You're... Setsuna, right?"

So long as it wasn't too loud....

...Okay, not in case. Even if hugs from near strangers were kind of awakard. Still, there was something about Cally that struck her as familiar, more than just a passing, I've-seen-you-around way. She lowered her drawn-up legs, her tightly-gripped tea up. "Well, I mean, if you're offering, sure."

And then she realized that she probably didn't make much sense, considering Cally had no idea what she was upset about. She shook her head, blushing a little. "Sorry. I'm just kind of babbling a little now..."

She looked at Cally for a moment. Why did she seem so familiar? Maybe it was just something about her demenour, the way she carried herself. Then again, there was...
"You're the other girl in my health and fitness class, right?"
That had to be it...but, at the same time, it didn't quite seem to cover it, although she was sure that Cally was in that class with her.

"Do you live on this floor, Cally? I think I've almost got everyone on this one, finally, but I wouldn't be surprised if I've missed yet another."

"Lemming? As in, actual lemming, or is this a pet name for someone?"
One could never be too sure; always good to check.

"Well, that's certainly different than a dog or a cat," she decided after a moment with a smile. "And where's home? If you don't mind me asking, and trying to cover the general get-to-know-you questions that we probably should have covered ages ago."

Cally's disclaimer, however, stopped her a moment. "I see; not that it would matter all that much if you weren't, right?" Said the not-quite-so-human half-demon with a nervous little laugh.

"But fixing broken things is pretty important, too," she said, hoping she sounded supportive, worried that she'd inadvertantly stuck her foot in her mouth again. "I have a friend back home who's a real genius at stuff like that; without her, my robot friend couldn't survive because she'd have no one to fix her, and, without my robot friend, my vampire friend...well, kind-of friend, wouldn't have someone to help protect her, so..."
Setsuna blinked a little, thinking that, if this were anywhere else other than Fandom, she'd probably sound insane a little. But Cally herself had just given off a list of oddities, too, which just made Setsuna smirk a little. God bless Fandom High. Heh.

"Um, well, but can Bridge give such effective, emo-dispelling hugs?"

She stopped very abruptly, sudden burst of cheerfulness dropping away quickly. She gulped. Shit.
She forged on, albiet uneasily. "Um, err, I...I mean, my...my..e--" Say it, Setsuna......But she couldn't. "Um, well, there's Jude; he doesn't have any super powers or training, or anything like that, although he's pretty good on a skateboard and makes a mean pancake, and...and he...he's one of the best people I've met here..."
Like, the most most amazing person ever...
Ugh. Setsuna failed at this diversion game, absolutely and completely...Her eyes dropped away.
