Third Floor Common Room; Saturday Night.

Chad had set the common room up for his rather spontanious party with Christmas lights (why the hell not?), lots of food, game areas, and a movie marathon. Pretty simple, really, but Chad never really did stuff like this before so he was pretty impressed. And now, to play the waiting game.

"Mac," She smiled and waved in greeting. "Hi." She shifted a little so she was more comfortable tucking her legs up underneath herself. "Haven't actually seen any of his movies before," she admitted. "So this is all new to me."

Teddy leaned against the couch. "Oh, you have to. He's way cooler than any of the other Bunds."

Mac raised an eyebrow, "There are lots of him?" she asked, more than a little confused.

She then gestured at the other end of the couch, "You can sit down you know."

Teddy took the offered end of the couch and muttered a quick 'thanks'.

"Oh yeah, there have been like five different guys playing Bund over the years."

Mac nodded, "Right, I knew that. I'm just uber confused today." She shrugged and settled back into the sofa.

"I've been compared to one of the other characters before, so I really should watch it, just to see whether I should be pleased with the comment or not."

"Who were you compared to?"

"Um, the one with all the gadgets," she said smiling at Teddy. She really does like her technology. That's a good start right there.

"He's cool," Teddy replied. "You use a lot of gadgets?"

Mac grinned, "I'm like go to gadget girl around here," she said kinda proudly. "For all your hacking and geeky electronic needs."

"You're Cally's girlfriend?" Teddy asked. "She said Mac and technology, but with all the twins and not-twins running around here..."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] imac-kenzie.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't have any twins," Mac informed him. "Nor any doppelgangers, or as far as I'm aware any people with my name." She grinned and added, "That'd be a 'yes, I am' by the way."

Teddy grinned. "Around here it seems safer to not assume, well, anything about anyone."

"So true," Mac agreed. "Met one guy who intruduced himself as being 'Dean, but not the Dean who has the brother who looks like me but isn't me', or, that's possibly not the exact words, but something to that effect, anyway. You get used to that kind of weird once you've been here a while."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm pretty used to weird," Teddy replied. "But even back home things like that would have raised a few eyebrows."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] imac-kenzie.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
"I was so not used to weird before I came here," Mac said shaking her head. "Or, I was used to weird, but only a normal kind of weird. Overdramatic, rather than downright supernatural."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Where are you from?" Teddy asked before correcting himself. "Or when."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] imac-kenzie.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
"Neptune, California," Mac said. "And I'm basically from now. Except, it's weird and I'm older when I'm there... or something." She pulled a face, "I find it easier not to think about the mechanics of it too hard. It's kinda boggling."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, logic and this place don't seem to get along all that well."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] imac-kenzie.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Mac chuckled and nodded. "I learned that really early on," she said. "First day here, and I ran into this girl from back home who I thought was dead. Only to find out that she still was, but wasn't really, or something. Very creepy, let me tell you."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
"That is creepy." Teddy was definitely weirded out by that. "I just have random famous people from back home running around here."

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] imac-kenzie.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
"Really?" Mac grinned, "That's pretty cool, who here is famous to you?"

Re: Movie Marathon.

[identity profile] notthehulk.livejournal.com 2006-11-12 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
"Jamie and Marie for sure, and Peter Parker is a maybe." And if Peter was who he thought he was, he was just going to freak right out.

"Ooh, then I know famous people," she said looking pretty perky at that. "Not that they're famous to me, but still."
