Blair had woken up hungry for more than algae shakes, and had puttered around the kitchen until he found the ingredients for pancakes. If he could ever flip one correctly, he might be able to eat.

Cally shook her head. "None at all, actually."

"So it's not really likely that you were one from birth." Blair stated.

"Or it's possible, but there was no way of it being known cause there was no way of activating my potential?" Cally said.

"The only way to activate your potential was through a spell in a book on our planet." Blair blinked. "That's...a pretty big leap."

"We were attacked by dragons made of Jello," Cally said.

"But I'm assuming that the dragons were always made out of jello. It's not like they were spam dragons until they read a book and then POOF! Jello-ized."

"The fact that there are Jello dragons is a big leap," Cally said.

"You're right." Blair shrugged. "Jello dragons beat out spontaneous witchery."

"I kinda thought people'd be happy I was a witch," Cally grumbled.

"I'm all for having cool super powers, man." Blair said with a smile. "But if you don't know where they came from or how to control them, it might get dangerous."

"I'm working on the last one," Cally said. "So far, so good. Totally don't need to worry."

"Uh-huh." Blair said, nodding. "All the same, I think I'll make sure the fire alarms have batteries in them."
