The Roof, Tuesday Night

Yep, it was that time again -- time to go up to the roof, smoke, and brood over what to get people for Christmas.

Okay, actually Anders was brooding over his conversation with Parker yesterday, but still. There was also Christmas-shopping brooding going on. Look, he could multitask, all right? Two kinds of brooding and smoking, all at once. There was even pacing back and forth.

Skilled, that guy. Really.

"Not as much as I'd like," Anders replied. "I mean -- as you'd like, I bet."

"The thought of feeling more has come to mind," Bel murmured.

"Oh, it's come to more than your mind, I bet," Anders replied. He felt a touch of smugness was appropriate.

"And it could come other places, yeah," Bel agreed.

Anders made an obvious show of licking his lips this time. "I just bet it could. Will."

"Keep using your tongue like that, and yeah," Bel growled.

Oh, like that was going to deter him. Anders ran his tongue very slowly and deliberately over his lips again, smirking.

Bel made a rumbling noise deep in his throat and took a step closer to Anders.

And Anders kept it up -- so to speak, holding Bel's gaze as he licked his lips again.

Damn, he wished he'd worn the leather pants.
