Outside Hunting Class - 7th period

Blair wasn't a happy camper today due to a certain girlfriend stealing his fish. He waved his current sign, Respect all living and currently undead things but his mind was elsewhere.

Like wondering if it would hurt his cause if he hired the Winchesters for a fish rescue mission.

"Dude." Jude clattered to a halt in front of Blair, flipping his skateboard up under his arm.

"Hey, man." Blair gave a wave to Jude, blushing a little.

"How's the protest goin'?" Jude asked, his ears going a little pink as he thought about sign-holding and . . . stuff.

"Uh...fine." Blair tried not to pay attention to the color of Jude's ears by looking at the celing. "How's the...uh...stuff that you're doing going?"

"Um, okay." Look at ground, shuffle feet. "Talked to people about . . . stuff. How's, um, River?"

For some reason, Nadia decided she had to check and see if Blair was still protesting Hunting. She thought she might have heard a rumor somewhere that he'd actually gone to the class once, and that might have colored his opinion. So she wandered over, her immobilizer shedding glitter like nobody's business, to see what her favorite hippie was up to.

"Hey." Blair gave her a half-hearted smile. "What's up?"

Nadia shrugged her uninjured shoulder. "Wanted to stop by and see how the protest is going. I take it it's . . . not going well?"

"The protest is going fine." Blair said with a shrug. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay. You sure? You look like someone just stole your puppy or something."

"Oh, you know, the usual. Off to my hunting of creatures with rights which I shouldn't do because they have rights as well."

"Uh-huh." Blair said distractedly.

"...Something wrong? You seem a little spacey. Er. Than usual."

It had started to feel like her Wednesday routine wasn't complete without seeing if Blair was doing anything arguable and objectionable in protest of the hunting class. Blissfully unawares She wandered over that afternoon, and found herself a bit disappointed.

"You're getting better," she commented, unable to argue with that message one bit. The lack of lollipops this time around was a little disheartening, too.

"At what? What have you heard?" Blair gulped nervously.

That...was an odd answer. Setsuna nodded her head toward what she meant. "At your signs. I find absolutely nothing objectionable about this one at all."

"Oh." Blair looked up at his sign. "That's great! No objectionable things here! Or before! Or with Jude!"

Setsuna was about to regard Blair's odd lack of calm and bounciness to an aggistation caused by perhaps too much coffee or a restless night, but her expression went sharply from weary to wide-eyed at the last addendum.

"Why...why would there....what does Jude have to do with any of this?"

Seely's pants might have squeaked a little as he wandered down the hallway. "Blair," he nodded.

"Seely." Blair titled his head to look at him. "Nice pants."

"Thanks," Seely said, and tried to look cool rather than wishing he'd spent just a leetle bit longer breaking in the pants than he had.

"Is there a reason why you're wearing dead animal flesh to hunting class?" Blair asked with a grin. "Besides the obvious part about it being kinda appropriate."

"Um...the leather, uh, protects against evil...things, with claws and teeth," Seely replied. "And I have it on good authority that the girls dig it."
