First Floor Lobby, Sunday Morning

The Doctor had been well informed of the trolls from Jane, and last night's radio had spurred him into some resemblance of organization. First stop, the dorms.

He didn't have access to the PA System or anything, so he had a megaphone in the lobby.

"Attention please, attention please! We have captives in the very large mansion in town, and we should not be snug in our beds while this occurs! Who is willing to organize, willing to face the belly of the beast and be unafraid to scritch it in order to achieve our goals? There is danger, certainly, but there are lives in possibly mortal peril. Come one, come all. We shall seperate the men from the boys, the whites from the yolks, the chaff from the... whatever it is you seperate chaff from. Prove yourselves! You all think that you're so grown up and brave, well now is the time to prove it!"

[ooc: A post to organize at least part of the rescue attempt. Come one, come all.

Bel staggered into the lobby, looking for more information about what was going on. Conveniently, the Doctor was making his announcement. "Mansion?" he growled. "Where?"

Buffy followed the noise yet again. She was holding a stake in her right hand, her left arm was kind of useless at the moment. She frowned at the Doctor. "What about the women from the girls?"

The Doctor lowered his megaphone. "22 Phoenix Place, I believe the address is?"

"I know where that is," Bel said. "I can shimmer there."

"I think even girls have the bravery to face danger, so we don't have to seperate them, but if you like, we can do that too. No sexism was meant, honest," he said. "Strongest fighters I've known, they've been women."

"Possibly foolish to go all by yourself, though," the Doctor pointed out. "Though it would provide the possibility of an assault on two fronts, which is definitely a good idea."

Armed with his sword and a gun, Cameron made it into the lobby. "Cameron Mitchell reporting for duty, sir." He might be taking this sort of thing too serious.

"I can be in and out in seconds," Bel insisted. "Just grab Phoebe and go."

"Okay then," Buffy said, mollified but not Molly-fied. "Do we know who's been taken? The troll I fought said they were after pretties."

Parker showed up, wearing her guns, and carrying a sack full of some uh, appropriated from the gun range. "Doctor? Any way we can get these guns *into* the mansion, so the captives have a fighting chance?"

"Good attitude," the Doctor said. "Glad to have you aboard, Mr. Mitchell."

"And the rest of the captives?" the Doctor asked. "They're just as important, you know."

"I can get them, too," Bel said. "Phoebe's just first."

Armed with his sword and shield slung across his back, Peter showed up ready to fight. "Ready to go, Doctor."

"According to reports, we have a goodly amount of men and women missing, so they aren't discriminating via gender," the Doctor said. "Very liberal of them, really. As for names, well, our inside report came from Willow Rosenberg."

"When are we leaving and what would you like me to do, sir?" Cameron asked.

"Well, Mr. Belthazor has said he has the ability to teleport in, actually," the Doctor said. "So... yes?"

"Ah, but where is your white horse?" the Doctor asked. He wasn't above being a little jovial in the dire circumstances.

Buffy's eyes widened. "But she's my next door neighbour!"

Ranma has been mostly ignorant to all these goings on. But he happens through the lobby as they're talking about it and decided to stay. "I'll join you. You need all the help you can get right?"

"At home, Doctor," Peter replied with a grin. "I wasn't allowed to bring him with."

"That's a very nice sword," Buffy said, jealous. She looked down at her stake. It was really tiny in comparison. She sighed.

"Well, we're going to need more than a small handful if we want to give them a fighting chance of escape, rather than a useless gesture," the Doctor said. "Once we've gathered a more appropriate amount of brave souls and we've assessed their capabilities, then we'll formulate an attack plan... ever do any strategic planning?"

"But they might catch on fast," the Doctor said. "It's too risky, riding solely on you." He shook his head. "We go as a team."

"I've followed some classes on war tactics. And well, I've been involved in some attacks here before, but usually more in the sidelines," Cameron admitted.
