Dr. Wilson had shared a picture with Blair that worked well for today's protest. Lucifer was holding a bundle of Christmas lights and helping a nun decorate a church.

Just in case people didn't recognize Lucifer as being, you know, the Lucifer...Blair had photoshopped horns and a tail on the man. It was pretty convincing work and Blair bounced excitedly as he shouted the message written at the bottom of the sign. "Demons aren't bad!"

"Hey, Jude!" Blair grinned and bounced. "What's up?"

River sneaked up on Blair and gave him a hug. Then she noticed today's sign. "I like the horns," she said.

"Hey, River." Blair reached up to pat her hands. "Me too, they're very pointy."

"Good example. Helping with Christmas lights doesn't seem evil." She grinned.

"Nope, although I'm still not sure about him." Blair said. "Did you know he's the real deal? Like, the Lucifer?"

River raised an eyebrow. "That's... special." She couldn't help wondering what his mind would be like.

"Not much, bro," Jude replied mellowly, belying the steadily growing collection of hickies barely hidden by the collar of his t-shirt. "How's it hangin'?"

"Maybe you should wait to meet him...uh..." Blair tried to figure out if never would be too harsh.

"Oh, guess who called yesterday?"

She didn't mind this change of subject too much. "Ivanova?"

So, Blair probably should have seen this one coming a mile away.

Setsuna came by to see what he was up to this Wednesday, took in the sign, not quite sure at first what it was saying, leaning in for a closer look, and then pulled away with an appalled expression on her face as she turned to him.

"Cheater." Blair said with a laugh. "Yup and guess what she said?"

"Setsuna!" Blair bounced. "I know you don't agree with the message but the picture had to be used. I mean, it's freakin Lucifer, man!"

"She invited us over for Christmas." River bounced. Yes, bounced.

"Are those photoshopped on?" she asked him, incredulously. "And Lucifer, as in, leader of hell in the Christian faith Lucifer?"

"Uh...yeah. Otherwise he'd just be some dude." Blair's tone held an unspoken 'duh'. "And yup, although he's retired and running the club in town."

"See, this is why we never play Twenty Questions." Blair teased and gave River a very bouncy hug. "Would you like to come? It's in space!"

"Yes, I'd like to come," River said. "Very much." She hugged him back, bouncily.

"Hanging goo-" Blair paused and tilted his head a little. He took a second to process and realized that he wasn't really upset about the hickies or the fact that Jude was getting them from someone else. "Nice hickies, man."

"Awesome!" Blair bounced excitedly. "We can hang out with Stella and meet all her friends and get some notes about aliens and spend time together in space and it will just be awesome!"

Jude immediately reddened and tugged his collar up a bit, looking sheepish. "Thanks? I was wearing a scarf, but I figured most people knew already . . ." Thank you, Nadia and radio.

Setsuna let out a tone of general frustration, wringing her hands a bit before using them to rub her face. She almost didn't know where to begin on this one. She took a deep, deep breath. She was gonna need it.

"Okay, first thing, I can't believe you, of all people, would want to do something like propegating at stereotype like that all demons much have horns and a tail merely to send a message. Not all demons have horns and a tail, you know; that's the just image given to them to, for a lack of better work, dehumanize them into a characature. By using it as an image to symbolize 'oh, look, demon!,' you are only continuing a tradition of opression on the image of the demon, which you, apparantly, are so dead set against doing."

"Secondly, Lucifer is, by almost all mythos, not a demon. He is an angel, albeit a fallen one. Demons were created after him. Having a picture of him and then claiming 'see, demons aren't bad' is a misconstrued representation, considering that he is not a demon at all. Angel, angel, angel."

"Thirdly, have you ever met that nun? She's absolutely crazy."

...And she was done. For now.

"Perfect," River agreed and hugged him again.

"Counseling went well," she said, changing the subject.

"Yeah, Setsuna mentioned something about to me the other day." Blair said. "Things going well with Chad?"

"Apparently we win at counseling." Blair grinned. "I'm really proud of you for going through with it even though you were kinda scared."
