Outside hunting class, 7th period

Dr. Wilson had shared a picture with Blair that worked well for today's protest. Lucifer was holding a bundle of Christmas lights and helping a nun decorate a church.

Just in case people didn't recognize Lucifer as being, you know, the Lucifer...Blair had photoshopped horns and a tail on the man. It was pretty convincing work and Blair bounced excitedly as he shouted the message written at the bottom of the sign. "Demons aren't bad!"

"Not much, bro," Jude replied mellowly, belying the steadily growing collection of hickies barely hidden by the collar of his t-shirt. "How's it hangin'?"

River sneaked up on Blair and gave him a hug. Then she noticed today's sign. "I like the horns," she said.

"Hey, River." Blair reached up to pat her hands. "Me too, they're very pointy."

"Good example. Helping with Christmas lights doesn't seem evil." She grinned.

So, Blair probably should have seen this one coming a mile away.

Setsuna came by to see what he was up to this Wednesday, took in the sign, not quite sure at first what it was saying, leaning in for a closer look, and then pulled away with an appalled expression on her face as she turned to him.

"Setsuna!" Blair bounced. "I know you don't agree with the message but the picture had to be used. I mean, it's freakin Lucifer, man!"

"Are those photoshopped on?" she asked him, incredulously. "And Lucifer, as in, leader of hell in the Christian faith Lucifer?"

Conner kind of facegloved at Blair as he headed toward class, and hoped that he could hurry on in without getting drawn into a long conversation about the badness of demons.

"Uh...dude?" Blair blinked at Conner for a moment. "Hello?"

"Blair! Hi!" Minor advantage: wearing a helmet means never having to pull a facial muscle attempting to hide a grimace. "This is all part of my plan to be your inside agent, really."

"So, who's the dude in the photograph?" Zero asked as she walked by. She'd never been in his bar, so she really didn't know.

"The devil." Blair grinned. "He doesn't really have the horns and tail."

"So, first, you photoshopped Satan. That seems to me the kind of thing he might take umbrage to. Aren't you afraid he might come kill you a lot?" Zero asked.

"And also," she continued, channeling her veteran protestor parents and her marketing expert brother, "we really need to work on your protesting thesis statement, here, because it's a little flinky. If your argument is that a group isn't 'bad,' using Satan as a representative is probably not the best idea. Most people see him as the embodiment of evil. And also he's not even really a demon."

Walter stopped and stared at Blair and his picture. "Why do you have a picture of the guy who runs the Devil's Nest with horns and a tail?"
