Third Floor Common Room, Friday (4 PM - Past Midnight)
Aziraphale had delivered Mercer's message to Conner, and that combined with what the angel and handwavily Bridge had both picked up from him meant big trouble. So after a couple hours' worth of failed attempts to contact Hayley and Doctor Oliver, and a long, frantic, ultimately futile IM session with Ethan, Conner had entrenched himself in the common room with his laptop and a bunch of junk food in order to hit the books. So to speak.
He'd made a fewhandwavey phone calls to people he thought might be able to help, and Aziraphale had promised to keep an eye out in town for any sign of trouble for Mesogog.
So far the threat didn't seem to be immediate, but Conner wanted to keep it from getting to that point. Now it was just a matter of figuring out a way of finding Mesogog, physically separating him from Mercer, and getting rid of the crazy reptilian bastard.
This was his mess, and he was going to clean it up, but nobody had ever said that his old friends from home were the only ones who could help him . . . right?
[OOC: Open to all, but especially my student plot volunteers; wander in unaware, or handwave a phone call from Conner if you like. This was supposed to go up a couple of hours ago but I've been absolutely slammed at work all day, go figure, and now I've got a company party toblow off go to for a little while, so SP from me for the next hour, and then I'll be AFK until about 8PM PST. After that I'll be around all night -- Conner will be here probably all night anyhow.]

At least there's people up here, even though they don't actually appear to be watching anything.
Shawn smirked a little at Conner, "Nice spandex," he deadpanned.

He looked up from his laptop and gave Shawn a slightly beleaguered smile. "Don't suppose you know anything about some kind of spell or fancy piece of equipment that'll separate a crazy evil lizard-guy from the human he's possessing, so we can kill him, do you?"

"Do I even wanna know why you're talking evil lizards?"

Man, this story didn't get any less weird with every retelling.
