After a very full day of chasing a small puppy through the ball pit in the closet and feeding and entertaining Berthold, Dawn was stretched out on the floor on her side, watching the DVDs of Wormhole X-treme that Molly had given her for Christmas.

Dean wandered in, carrying a completely flaked out Hunter, sprawled over one arm. There had been much chasing of stray balls in hallways by the kitten under close supervision until he had finally worn himself out.

"Hey," Dean greeted Dawn. "What's on?"

"Wormhole X-treme, but it's on DVD so I can watch it later," Dawn said, grinning when she saw Hunter draped on Dean. "Where'd you find the dead kitten?"

"Sprawled out over a ball," he said grinning, and flopping down on the couch. Hunter didn't even stir. "All these balls randomly rolling around seems to be a kitten's idea of Disneyland."

"Scout had a blast too. He was sleeping on Sam when I left," Dawn snickered, "and then I got to play hide and go seek with Berthold."

"Don't look now but there's a big ball of fur growing on your arm."

"That's Hunter," Dean said, glancing down at his sleeping cat.

Billy waved to hunter, then remembered that sleeping probably would mean, not seeing a wave. "Good name for a cat."

"Hey Peoples."

"Hey," Dawn waved from her spot on the floor.

"What's this?" he asked, pointing to the tv.

"Wormhole X-treme. 'bout a team of space explorers that go through some kind of wormhole thing and end up on other planets that all look like Earth."

"Heyyyyyyyyyy," Conner said as he came dribbling a miniature soccer ball into the common room, "isn't this that show with the guy who like freaking dies all the time?"

"Dr. Levant," Dawn said, nodding. "I think he's up to four, and there's still a few seasons left to go."

"And there's like fifty million different planets but all of the ones with forests look like the same forest, and all the deserts look like the same desert, and so forth?" Conner sprawled across an armchair in the most inelegant possible manner and balanced the ball on his stomach.

"Yes!" Dawn sat up, excited to find another fan, "and every single alien race they meet speaks English!"

"Haven't seen that one," Conner admitted.

"It's a cartoon from my world." Billy said. "the main villain keeps faking his death."

"Oooh, Wormhole X-treme!" Carmela says as she comes in to the room.

Dawn waved happily at Carmela. "Yup. You a fan?"

"My friend Dairine *lives* for scifi," Carmela explains. "Made me watch a few episodes and got me hooked, the little brat."

"Half of the fun of watching is just admiring the pretty," Dawn smiled as Doctor Levant came onscreen, "and the other half is making fun of the bad language research."

"Yeah, Doctor Levant's dying again," Conner says offhandedly, then looks up and grins. "Hey, Carmela!"

"Conner!" Carmela says brightly. "Again? That's a bad habit he's got, there."
