Teddy was on the couch, watching seizure inducing cartoons. After radio broadcast from last night said that Cassie was talking to people about him, he needed something insanely violent to take his mind off traitorous ex-teammates.

He had no idea what was going on in the show, something about a fighting tournament and some ultimate prize. And man was the main character's hair weird.

That totally made Ami giggle. She did remember to cover her mouth when she did so, but she did giggle.

"I am sorry. That is just such a ... boy thing to say."

Teddy waved at himself and grinned. "Boy!"

"What would you have done if I started gossiping about the characters?"

THat cause Ami to actually think about it. "I am not sure. Not notice the hypocrisy?"

"Okay then," Teddy said nodding. "How do you like the school so far?"

"It is interesting. I have not met too many people yet, but my roommate is from the future and my Big sister is from another planet." she grinned as she spoke "and here i thought being from a foreign country would make me stick out like a sore thumb."

"Have you seen the people who look exactly alike but aren't related at all yet?" Teddy asked.

"Well i met the Hitachiin twins, but i assumed they were related, since they had the same family name."

"Yeah, they're actually twins," Teddy said. "I'm sure you'll meet the not!twins soon enough."

"These not-twins, they look exactly the same? How do you tell them apart?"

"Well, sometimes it's just luck, but since they don't act alike, it gets easier in time."

"Duly noted. So, i have been asking almost everyone this by now. What other weirdness of this place should i know about?"

"Aliens, witches, and people with super powers," Teddy promptly stated. "I mean, there are normal people, but a lot of us have strange abilities."

Having already talked to Isabel, Ami was less surprised. "I see. I take it from your sentence structure that you do not fall in the normal category?" SHe grinned a bit impishly at him.

"Nope," Teddy said. "Alien."

And it was strange how easy it had gotten to say that to people since he came here.

"Cool" It was amazing how quickly one can adapt to totally odd things.

She pointed to herself. "Completely normal human, here."

"You'd be surprised as to how often some of the aliens are actually human too."

That she wasn't expecting. "How does that work? Intergalactic seeding projects?"

Teddy shrugged. "No clue. I'm one of the actually alien aliens.

"Can you do things like move objects around and remove stains from clothing?"

Teddy laughed. "No, I don't have any cool powers like that. I'm a shapeshifter."

Blink. Blink. "What do you shift into?"

"Anything really," Teddy said. "Other people. I'm ssupposed to be able to turn into objects but it's really hard and I haven't been able to do it yet."

"So, all those not-twins, you could make them into not-triplets?"

After a moments puase to think about that, Teddy spoke. "You know, I did do that once."
