The roof, Sunday evening

It was cold out and raining, but Nadia felt the need to stake her claim on the roof after her encounter that morning with Crazy McParanoidpants. So she was up on the roof, wrapped in a thick, knitted poncho with a big umbrella and thermos of hot cocoa.

No whacko was keeping her from the roof, no sirree.

Walter had an umbrella and wanted to escape all the nonsmokers. He spotted another umbrella and went to see who else had had at least the idea to escape others, if not the smoking part.

"Hello there."

Nadia turned and grinned. "Hey, you,"

"I know you aren't up here to smoke," Walter observed. "But you look to be in a good mood."

"I'm staking my claim. If Pip can declare a no emo rule, I'm declaring a no complete nutters rule."

Yes, she'd picked up on just a smidge of British slang.

Clever girl. "If you make that rule, no one who has been in Fandom more than 24 hours will be allowed up here."

Nadia shook her head. "No, Fandom weirdness doesn't involve being totally paranoid and yelling about totally crazy things. 'who do you work for?!' 'who is Number 1?!' 'don't interrogate me!' I mean, I was just trying to be friendly, and he went all nutso."

"Who's that?" No one got a free pass to go crazy at Nadia. She had enough of that to deal with.

Pippi flounces up to the roof.

"Hey!"

"I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

"No. We're just talking." Walter grinned. "No guitar lessons or anything."

Pippi knows that Walter was planning on taking guitar so she doesn't quite catch the reference...

And it's a good thing otherwise she'd wonder if perhaps the guitar class was actually being taught by a monochromatic hooker.

"Guess what I got today?"

"A paste-on unicorn horn?" Walter hazarded to guess. "What did you get today?"

"No, though that does sound like fun."

Pippi had a small backpack with her, like she did before. Only this time, she opens and show's Walter what is in side.

And that would be two copper clamps. One of which has a rose engraved on it, and the other a cheese burger.

Pippi offered Nadia a candy.

"Caramel?"

"Sure!" Nadia accepted the candy and held out her thermos. "Cocoa?"

"Oooh yes please!" Pippi nodded. "So I went shoppies today..."

"Wow, that sounds kinda vulgar when you put it like that. Get anything good?"

Billy with an umbrella, some incense from Sanctity, and also a thermos of cocoa emerged onto the roof.

"Oh, hi." he greeted those assembled. He was slightly surpised due to the weather. Even though he really shouldn't have been.

"In this school? Good luck." Billy grinned. He was hoping that didn't include him. "How can you even tell if someone's crazy here?"
