Fourth floor common room, Monday evening

Marco had claimed the remote as his own and was now channel surfing from about a foot away from the television. There was a big, forgotten bowl of popcorn behind him.

"We have invasions all the time," Anders pointed out. "That's not overthrowing governments."

He cast a glance at the ceiling as something occurred to him. "Which makes me wonder what Professor Roslin would say if she knew I was taking that class -- she was all big on me understanding and appreciating government last semester."

"No, but she appreciates good government. If it's a bad one, I think she'd understand that there comes a point where the overthrow is utterly necessary." Parker might be wishing things could be that easy in her own life. "A coup here, a small rebellion there... it'll be fun."

"Okay, okay." Anders held his hands up. "You've got me sold on the idea, all right? But if I ever end up a terrorist later in life, it's so your fault, Parker."

Parker for the win! "Totally understood." Parker yawned happily. "Team Parker stages a revolution tomorrow."

"Do I get to be on Team Parker?" Anders asked hopefully, before yawning himself.

"Sure," Parker said generously. "You were there when I muahaha'd at the newbies. You freaked some out. You're on the team." She yawwwwned again. "Oh, mannn...."

"Stop that," Anders complained as another jaw-cracking yawn kept him from further protest. "So frakking tired lately. All the time . . ."

"I do wonder why." Parker rolled her eyes at him. "Go. To. Bed." She got up, swishing the kimono around herself, and held out one hand to him. "I'll pull you up."

"Oh, thanks," Anders said, meaning it. He took the hand she held out and started to lever himself up off the couch. "Ow -- motherfrakking -- ow!"

Parker's mouth thinned to a line as she leaned back, pulling Anders upward. "You okay to get down the stairs?" she asked quietly.

Anders nodded. "Yeah," he said through clenched teeth. "Down's a lot easier than up. Thanks."

The gratitude was as much for her lack of biting commentary as it was for the hand. He hoped she knew that.

Parker's jaw set, but she nodded, saying, "You can lean on me for the stairs." She sent Bel a dark look. "And then? Sleep. And nothing else, Daisy."

Anders slung an arm carefully around Parker's shoulders. "Yes ma'am," he said, though he knew there was a likelihood that, well, it wasn't going to be the case.

Parker made another mental note: To check on Anders tomorrow in Revolutions. If he wasn't a little bit better... well. Something would have to be done.
