Fourth floor common room, Monday evening

Marco had claimed the remote as his own and was now channel surfing from about a foot away from the television. There was a big, forgotten bowl of popcorn behind him.

"Yondaime and I are from the same world, but I've yet to see anyone else from there." Kabuto smiled, not seeming to notice the wickedness of Parker. "Though...we aren't friends. Our villages are actually enemies." He reached up to adjust his forehead protector.

"Sorry to hear that," Parker said mildly. "If you fight in the Common Rooms, you'll get busted immediately. Just a word of advice on that. And I really, really wouldn't challenge Miho in town, if you're mostly a medical ninja. The girl likes her swords."

"Yondaime's an instructor," Kabuto pointed out. "I'm his teacher's aide. Though that doesn't seem to prevent me getting assigned detention for no reason." He frowned a little, remembering that. "And I'll be sure to watch out for this Miho."

"Hunh. No, not like *that* never happens around here," Parker said sarcastically. "You might get assigned Detention with no warning at all, too, if you lose at the Lottery." She yawned a little. "Miho's completely monochromatic. Can't miss her." Well, usually people didn't see her in time, to miss her...

"That's rather unfortunate. Ah well. It happens." Kabuto shrugged. "And maybe if I'm lucky, he'll forget to report it. Knowing him, it may just be an idle threat." Especially considering the mun just remembered she has to work on Saturday. Kabuto thought for a moment. "Monochromatic. I'll keep it in mind. So, what about you? Any special abilities?"

"It's an old system, I have no idea why they can't change it," Parker grumbled. "I had to fight a simulated really cool! closet monster in one Detention. And dress up as a-- okay, that's too much information." She smirked. "Powers? Fashion sense. Visa. Deadly shoes. And the ability to hold a grudge forever." She grinned at him. Maybe she was kidding. Maybe.

"...Interesting. To say the least." Kabuto was taking intensive mental notes. And did pick up his notbook to write some of the important ones down. "And I'll do my best to remember that you're not someone I want to cross." He smiled brightly. She reminded him a little of someone he knew.
