The Salle; Wednesday Afternoon (lunch through sixth period)

While waiting for Henry, Setsuna was working a few forms with the gorgeous Narnian sword Peter had brought for her, getting use to its balance, its weight. It was lighter than she remembered Rhindon being, but it was also so short, by comparrison to Yuunagi, but she still liked the feel of it. Not nearly as graceful, but that was the style, and she could easily adapt to it. She quickly initiated a few sequences. Yes, she could definately get used to using her....

Setsuna's cheeks turned a little pink as she nodded, giving Alphonse a small smile. "Arigato," she said softly. "It feels really good to run through those techniques again."

Alphonse stretched his arms behind his back briefly. "Glad I could be of assistance," he said, smiling. "It's actually some practice I could use as well."

"Excepting that one moment of error," Setsuna said, "you seemed to be pretty on top of things, Alphonse. Very nice work."

"Aw, I got distracted," Alphonse said sheepishly. "Didn't mean to worry you for a second there."

Setsuna chuckled a little. "Well, it's a natural instinct to be fighting with a sword and worrying when you hear a 'whoops'"

"Nah, don't worry. I don't screw up." He grinned, then reconsidered. "... Well, not with something like this, anyway."

"Oh," Setsuna smirked a little, though she tried to make her nod serious and grave. "Of course not."

Alphonse mock pouted. "You can't say that I have."

"That's very true; I can't. You have shown nothing but excellent results in all our training together."

Setsuna chuckled a little. "I'm sorry; I'm still in sensei mode."

Alphonse beamed. "So, training aside," he started. "I haven't seen you in quite some time. How'd your trip go?"

A long groan immediately emerged from Setsuna. "Longest twelve days of my life," she said, not holding back on her misery.

He blinked. "Really?"

Setsuna nodded. "Really. Summary? The twins' stupid maid dressed me up, Ranma got interogated by my boss as a girl, my classmates insisted on showing everyone a slightly embarrassing video of me fighting in a ridiculous costume, Ranma got into a fight which...also ended up with him as a, uh...as a girl...umm...exposing himself..." She cleared her throat and turned very red at that memory, "and, to top it all off, my first kiss of the new year was given to me by Hikaru."

Alphonse gave nothing more than a blank stare, tilting his head. "That sounds... far more eventful than my break."

"I repeat: Longest twelve days ever," Setsuna sighed, then tilted her head at Alphonse a little, "what did you do over break?"

"Well..." he trailed off. "Not much." He shrugged. "I don't get these holidays."

The lack of Christmas made sense, but... "No New Year's where you're from?"

"We've got that, but I live in the middle of nowhere," Alphonse pointed out. "Not so much with the gathered celebrations there."

Setsuna nodded. "It's a very big deal back home. The twins took us all to a very big event at a temple in Tokyo. It was so crowded..."

"Crowded? A big event like that does sound kind of fun," Alphonse said thoughtfully. "There was some stuff going on here, I think, but I didn't really jump into it much."

Setsuna looked at him for a long moment with a smirk. "...And no one is suprised by that," she teased.

Alphonse did the mature thing and stuck out his tongue at her. "I'm not that bad. Blame my lazy mun anyway!"

Setsuna chuckled. "Well, I suppose you are here now, so I can't complain too much. How many new students have you even met so far? If your number is lower than mine, I think we might need an intervention."
