Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon After Classes

It had been too long since they'd last had a Japanese meal...well, since the New Year. But that seemed so long ago and they were craving it badly

It may have been a rather oddly placed meal time, but Hikaru and Kaoru took their supplies and moved into the Third Floor common room to make some curry and udon. The rice was steaming away in the cooker as Kaoru stirred at the potatos in the curry pot. The smell of curry was almost overpowering...

Hikaru sat on the couch, waiting for the Udon to boil as he watched a re-run of last night'sThe Daily Show on the TV, looking through the TV guide for something else.

"Ah. That makes sense." Hikaru nods.

"Taking anything really interesting this semester then?" Kaoru asked after another bite.

"DAMM, Guitar, and Guide to Villains," Shawn said counting them out on his fingers. "Better than some of the stuff I could've ended up with, that's for sure."

"Ah. I'm in D.A.M.M too." Hikaru nods; he really needed to start paying attention to who was in his classes.

"I'm in guitar too. I'm not sure how I got into it...because I certainly didn't sign up for it." Kaoru shrugs a little in exasperation. He wasn't exactly excited for that class...

"It happens, man," Shawn said with a shrug. "You think I actually signed up for half my classes last term? I think they just love to torment us with paperwork screw-ups sometimes."

They nodded. "Yea. We understand that now. With our new room mate and all..." Well, he wasn't bad or anything. It was just the space issue that annoyed them.

"You have a three person room?" Shawn asked.

Both nodded. "Kinda sucks...space is tighter now, especially since we usually share stuff, and now we have a whole other person's stuff in there."

"Seriously, tight," Shawn said, nodding in understanding. "I have a roommate, but even with just the two of us, and our junk. We take up quite a lot of space."

"Oh. And he has a dog too." Kaoru laughs a little at the rememberance of Mizu. "Most talkative little beagle alive..."

"Three people, plus dog..." Shawn shook his head, " How do you even fit yourselves and all your stuff in there anyway?"
