[3rd Floor Common Room, Evening] Birthday Party!

It's Weiss's 17th birthday and he's providing chocolate cake and (moddable) soda! There's even some vegan cupcakes if you're so inclined. This shindig is open invite, so come on down.

[OOC: ~~I will be in and out for a bit, so count on Weiss's threads to be slowplay until after 8 and then full-on party mode after that~~ I'm here!]

ETA: Oh yes, there's actually a sign up that indicates party and free cake, if your character needs a reason to wander in. I forget details.

"I had to sing today," Angela said, putting as much enthusiasm into "sing" as she would into "perform surgery on kittens." "The teacher hated my hair."

"What's not to like about your hair?" Marty scowled. "Who is this clown? And I bet you sung great."

"For someone who can't really sing," Angela pointed out. "It's that green demon guy from Caritas. I guess he teaches here or something."

"Oh. Him," Marty said with clear disdain. "You know for a guy who is supposed to be psychic he's pretty bad with names. Have you noticed that?"

"He called me Amy. And then Angie." Angela wrinkled her nose. "I think he just doesn't listen."

Marty gave Angela a hug. "It's okay. He's just a putz. How'd you end up in music class?"

"Who knows? I thought I asked for the villains class," Angela shrugged. "I just decided keeping it was easier than getting the paperwork fixed."

"Well it's only for a semester and he gets nasty with you I'll set him straight," Marty grumped.

"You wouldn't," Angela gasped. Then: "Okay, you would. But, seriously, it's fine."

"I just don't like seeing you unhappy," Marty frowned. "But if you're okay with it I'll keep my mouth shut."

"Please?" Angela said weakly.

And decided to go for a distraction quickly. "Hey, do you know what next Tuesday is?"

"Grilled ham and cheese day at the cafeteria?" Marty guessed.

"You still eat in the cafeteria?" Angela asked him. "Guess again."

"No but I try to avoid it especially on those days," Marty said with a shudder. "Um. Is it our anniversary?"

"YES," Angela said. "Sixteen months. And it's been a really long time since we did a date-date thing in Fandom." She looked at Marty hopefully.

"Well, We'll have to rectify that," Marty said offering her a hug. "How about dinner out? Maybe a movie? Long walk on the beach if weather permits?"

"Movie and beach, anyhow," Angela agreed happily. "If it's cold, we can just wrap up warm. I love the ocean."

"Sounds like a plan," Marty said with a doofy grin. "How about Ching Tai?"

"I love Chinese," Angela said. "I'll meet you there." she kissed him. "I can't believe it's been this long."

Marty returned the kiss and gave her a bear hug. "And I wouldn't trade a moment. Well maybe the first couple hours of turning into a girl."

Angela snickered. "Trust you to get a body with PMS."

"I think someone up there wants to punish me," Marty snickered back.

"Nah, if they wanted to punish you, you would have gotten stuck," Angela said. "Not that being a girl sucks all the time. But."

"Well it was an interesting day," Marty grinned. "I think I learned a lot from it."

"Not one to repeat," Angela said firmly. "Ever."
