The SciFi Channel had an all-night marathon of the original Strifenova Celestial. Tannim was there, with popcorn and Gatorade.

Kabuto was a common room drifter, and tonight was no exception. He wandered into the second floor room, tilting his head to the side when he saw what was on the tv. "What's on?" He asked casually, leaning his elbows on the back of the couch.

"Strifenova Celestial," Tannim said. "The glorious original version."

"Never heard of it," Kabuto admitted cheerfully. "I'm not from around here." He might look like someone who had a lot more power than he let on.

"It's an old TV show," Tannim said. "There's a remake, which some people claim is better than the original. And sure, if you like good writing, acting, special effects and all that stuff, it looks a little better. But if you're looking for nostalgia, you gotta go to the original." He held out the bowl of popcorn. "Have some, if you want. I'm Tannim, by the way."

Turtle was way too buzzed from going to a bar and going to her first concert ever to do something silly like sleep. So she was estatic to find other people up and about though her mun could crash at any moment *dramatic music*.

"Oooh, popcorn and Gatorade," she commented, approvingly.

"Come, share," Tannim said, offering her the popcorn bowl. "It's a classic Strifenova Celestial marathon."

Tannim neededn't say another word before Turtle was plopping down on the couch next to him, politely ignoring the fact that the very, very tip of her braid brushed ever-so-lightly against his arm in the action. "It's a who'sa, what'sit, where now?"

"Killer robots called the 'Toastons' have destroyed almost all of humanity, but a few escaped on the spaceship Strifenova Celestial and are hoping to find the lost planet Earth," Tannim explained.

Bored, Jo was wandering the dorms. She poked her head into the common room upon hearing the television. "Hey."

Kabuto waved slightly. "Hello. Come to join the marathon?"

"Sure," Jo grinned and made her way into the common room. "What are we watching?"

Kabuto paused, remembering the name. "Strifenova Celestial, I think he called it."

"Hey!" Tannim said.

Jo grinned. "I know you from class," she said. "Tannim, right?"

"Yep, and you're Jo?" Tannim asked. "How's it going?"

Turtle gave Jo a wave and a smile from the couch.

Jo waved back. "Hey, Turtle. How've your classes been so far?"

Naomi had decided to take a study break and be social so she made her way from the fourth floor down to the second, "hi," she said cheerfully as she entered.

You'd think Turtle would learn tact by now. However, at least her slight gawking seemed intrigued more than anything else.

Naomi had been at Fandom for a semester so she was by now used to this type of response, she nodded to confirm her answer, "yeah they're horns,"

Insomnia was hitting him rather hard, most of the time Balthier was an early to sleep sort of man, but tonight nothing was working. He wandered into the common room and pulled one of his apples out of the fridge and looked over at the group around the television. "So what's the play for tonight?" He asked sitting down in a chair.

"A marathon of an old show, I've been told," Kabuto told him, leaning back against the front of the couch.

Yes, it had taken on quite a musical quality.
