5th Floor Common Room - Saturday morning
She was almost positive she ate too many gummi bears. Normally she doesn't eat so much candy, but it's like those things were addictive or something. Whatever though, her stomach was not exactly agreeing with her and she woke up and headed to the common room, shuffling along in her fuzzy slippers to make coffee a pot of coffee.
Leaning over the counter, she rested her head on her arms and waited for it to get done. For some reason, her head wasn't feeling too good either. Pouring herself a cup, she added milk and sugar and walked to the couch and curled up in a corner, tucking her legs up. She sipped her coffee and listened to the buzzing in her ears. Annette might have looked a little green.
(ooc: totally open for all your coffee needs, or just, whatever.)

It was entirely possible she wasn't aware that this was a common room and/or that it wasn't hers.
She seemed to be looking for something.

"Hey there," Annette said softly. "Are you looking for someone?"

"I'm Annette and...you're looking for something?"
no subject
"I'm Luna. And yes. Have you seen anything small, furry and winged up here?"
no subject
"No. But I guess that doesn't mean it couldn't be hiding somewhere." She peeked behind a cushion on the couch and paused, looking over at Luna.
"Is this a friendly sort of furry and winged?"

[ooc: You wouldn't happen to have AIM, would you?]
no subject
"Does it have a name?"
(ooc: I don't :( But I have been seriously considering getting it!)

Luna was half way under an arm chair at the moment so that may not have been all what Annette actually heard.
[ooc: Oh do! Makes it easy to ask wee things, pass information, get to know people, etc!]

She was ignoring the pounding in her head to help Luna. And she was very much curious now about this humdinger fluffy thing.
(ooc: I warn you, I'm a terrible multi-tasker XD!)

[ooc: No worries. It's just something a bunch of us have. Also? I'm assuming you're familiar with Potter, since you caught my typo.]

(ooc: Does watching the first three HP movies count? I sooo did not catch that typo!)

[ooc: Oh! I thought you had as I had one too many bs in Blibbering. No worries!]

Not yet, but he spotted Annette. "Good morning," he said, coming in and automatically putting a kettle on the stove. "How are you?"

"I don't have any peppermint tea." She said forlornly, setting her cup of coffee aside. No wonder she wasn't feeling any better yet.

"At home I take care of Arthur. It's habit," he said while he prepared two cups for the water he had put on when he first came in.

Her brows knitted slightly. "So you and Alphonso are going to be rooming together? And...I'm sorry...I think I'm a little slow this morning. What does this have to do with Nadia and her roommate?"

She smiled. "That sounds nice, all of you rooming together...is this a boyfriend girlfriend thing or just a friend friend thing?"

Annette sipped more of her tea, feeling her stomach begin to settle a little.

"I thought I saw you last night at Caritas. What did you think of Teal Dear?"
no subject
"You did. I was there with Steerpike. I really enjoyed them and think they're an amazing talent. I'll definitely go to their next show."

"And how has your first week of classes gone? Will your non-traditional education satisfy you?"
no subject
She took another swallow of her tea.
"What about you?"

He'd also heard the radio, but he tended to take all radio broadcasts with more than a grain of salt.

She hugged a pillow to her chest and curled her legs up under her. "Your mother was right."
no subject
"Your stomach is feeling better, then?"
