Cheerleader Try-Outs, Sunday, noon!

The gym was set up as it had been for other try-outs. The current cheerleaders were sitting behind desks, pen and paper ready to make judging marks. In front of them were an open space, with a pile of mats to one side in case someone was feeling uncertain of their abilities. There was ample space on the bleachers for an audience to support and/or mock the people trying out.

They would need at least three cheerleaders to replace those graduating this spring.

(ooc: Posted early so people working Sundays (!!!) can get a chance to play too! Wait for OCD is up! Come try out! Show your school spirit!)

Annette showed up in stretchy black shorts and top (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/serenityunleashed/ACF33E.jpg) feeling more nervous than she had in a really long time.

She walked to a spot just before the judges and took a deep breath. Then she smiled and began:

"Working for a victory
Striving for a win
Reaching for the top
The Gremlins can't be stopped!
We never give up, We never give in
We'll fight till the end
Fandom High is here to win!!!"

She yelled this accurately and precisely with all the appropriate movements and claps. And added a toe jump (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/serenityunleashed/caldwell.jpg) at the end.

D applauded loudly.

She had to hand it to the girl, she'd gone to her first Seawhorse party and cheerleader try-outs all in the space of one weekend.

A Shirtless Seawhorse party at that!

Marie smiled encouragingly and made some notes.

Alec grinned at Annette, proud of his little sibling.
