5th Floor Common Room, Friday morning after third period

After class, Bel made his way back up to the fifth floor. Instead of heading to his room, he sat down on the couch in the common room, picking up the remote and turning on the TV. He flipped through the channels, idly looking for something to occupy a few hours.

Marty followed Bel over from class and into the common room where he saw him all settled down on the couch.

Yes he was stalking Bel. No, not in that kind of way.

"Hey Bel. Have you seen Nadia around?" Marty said with elaborate cheer.

"Haven't seen her," Bel said. "Not for awhile."

"Huh. Well she'll probably show up here," Marty replied going to fix some coffee. "After all it is a common room. Everyone shows up eventually."

Staying up most of the night with the concussed Pippi meant Nadia slept in and was running late for her fourth period class. She paused in the doorway to the common room just long enough to gasp out "HiBelIwanttotalktoyoulateraboutwhat'sbeengoingonokay?Seeyou!" before running off down the hall to get to Advanced Survival Tactics.

"And you're in the coolest common room in the dorms," Bel said, "according to Willow."

Bel watched Nadia rush through, slightly bemused. On the other hand, if Nadia was investigating the attacks on people, he might have to do something to deal with her soon.

"Is there anything interesting on?"

"Game shows," Bel sighed. "Nothing good."

"Well, that depends on the game show. Some of them can be quite entertaining."

Anders had managed to get a few hours of sleep after the insanity last night, so he felt marginally human. And 'marginally' was a very generous term.

He also wanted a smoke, so he'd headed up to the roof and stopped in at the common room on the way back down.

"Mmmph," he mumbled, flopping onto the couch.

Bel had to resist an urge to pet Anders. "You look tired," he observed.

JD sauntered into the common room and then stopped dead when he saw Bel. Old West show-down music started to play in his head.

Unfortunately, he said nothing out loud, so he just kinda stood there, looking funny.

"I find guessing prices of kitchen appliances to be not to my tastes," Bel said dryly.

Bel glanced at JD, standing there and looking funny.

Okay, today must be bring out the weirdos day.

Blair was on his way to find Bel and lucked out by spotting him in the common room. "Hey!"

Anders was totally pettable, really. "Frakkin' exhausted and not because of you for once."

"Really? Maybe I should change floors," Marty joked. "So did you hear about what happened to Angela the other day?"

"Well, not that game show. Although most of what I grew up with were Brazillian game shows. They're much more interesting than American game shows."

Bel glanced sharply at Anders. "What have you been doing?"

"Hello, Blair," Bel said as he bounced into the room. "What's up?"

"Oh?" Bel said. "How are they different?"

"The radio said something about her being missing, but not?" Bel said. "You misplace your girlfriend or something?"

"I've been looking for you, man." Blair grinned and took a seat nearby. "How've you been lately?"

It wasn't exactly why he had been looking for him, but Blair felt bad that he hadn't chatted with his friend lately.

Anders cracked one eye open and squinted at him. "Rescuing Bridge and Z from the crazy shapeshifting guy and his shiny robots?"

"Oh, subtle stuff. There's a lot more interaction and competition with the other contestants," Schro said.
