Where Cally had gotten a skimpy sailor girl outfit on such short notice, one might best not ask. But since everyone else was acting weird, she decided doing the same thing was only fair. And she could totally blame whatever happened.

Even though it hadn't actually effected her.

So there she was, blending up smoothies, and dancing to the music coming from the TV, which was playing a marathon of 'AKA' episodes.

Cally leaned over and rested her head carefully on Mac's shoulder. "Or you're just that awesome," she said.

"Or, I spend a lot of time with you," Mac continued running the backs of her fingers along Cally's arm.

Cally smiled a bit. "I 'ink I'd go crazy if you weren't here for me."

"Because dressing up in a sailor girl outfit to go to a common room isn't at all crazy," Mac said teasingly.

"...I so wish I could stick my tongue out at you right now," Cally said.

"Well, now I have the mental image of you doing just that," Mac replied. "Does that count?"

"Have to do," Cally said, letting a hand drift to Mac's knee. "Longest six weeks ever. 'ough I guess it's only five to go, now."

"One down." Mac looked over at Cally. "And I think it's looking better than it was, at least," she said encouragingly.

Cally nodded. "Think the bruises'll be gone soon," she said.

"Should be," Mac said with a little smile. "And in five weeks, when you get unwired, we celebrate."

"'ucks that I'll still have this on my birthday, though," Cally said.

"We'll figure out a way for it to be a fun birthday anyway," Mac assured her. Not that she knew how she was going to do that, but she would try at least.

Cally gave Mac's knee a squeeze. "Sorry. Doin' that mopey thing again."

"I thought made a rule about the moping," Mac said. "Something about it not being allowed, if I remember it right."

"Well, what ya gonna do to stop me?" Cally asked.

Mac grinned, and shrugged innocently. "I'm sure I can come up with something," she said.

"Well you better work fast, or I'm just gonna end up mopin' more," Cally said.

"No moping," Mac declared, standing up and reaching for Cally's hand. "We're going to find something un-mopey to do."

Cally stood up, taking Mac's hand. "I'm following your 'ead," she said.

"Glad to hear it," Mac replied, grinning at her. She started to head towards the door at that point. "C'mon, we have lots of anti-mope to do."

"...this is involving my promise of less sailor suit, isn't it?" Cally asked as they went through the door.

Mac didn't actually answer, but she did smile in such a way that might suggest the answer was yes.
