"I think so," Buffy said, a little doubtingly. She was rather visibly keeping herself upright by mainly standing on her right foot. Stupid Alternate Self who didn't think about crutches. "I'm not sure what Mel would consider right for a slumber party though." She looked at the room number again. "..I hope it's Mel, because if not Zuko's gonna get such a smacking."

Buffy turned awkwardly to stare at Mel instead. "Somehow you didn't really strike me as the slumber party type," she commented. "I'm totally coming though."

Mel looked around carefully before whispering a reply. "Yeah. I know. See the thing is? This kind of party is a total lure for supernatural psychos with power tools. I figure this way you girls can do all that girlie crap and I get something to beat the snot out of."

Buffy pressed a hand in front of her mouth to stop the giggles. When she felt like she could speak again without randomly snorfling, she nodded. "I understand. You miss kicking ass, huh? I'd help, but..." she tapped her leg and made a face. "I think I'm out of the frontlines for a couple of weeks."

"Yeah, I heard you ended up in the clinic And on your birthday too! Talk about major suck," Mel said with a sympathetic look. "What happened? Is there a demon on the loose?"

Okay now Mel was just looking hopeful.

"Rocketship," she replied. "I'll keep an eye out for him or her. So have you ever thrown one of these things before?"

Mel jabs a thumb at the poster.

"Because according to the movie we have to wear pajamas and play silly games."
