3rd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Tori, feeling a tiny bit restless, decided to change scenery and move from her room to the common room, bringing her laptop with her.

She took a seat on the couch and opened up her e-mail, attempting to write a detailed e-mail to the guys. There was just so much to describe, so much had happened and she had met so many people.
Tori stared at the screen, her fingers hovering over the keys.

Oh yeah, it was going to be a long e-mail.

And here were Conner and his laptop, heading into the common room and shaking his head over the latest email from Ethan.

"Hey, Tori."

"Hey Conner." Tori smiled. "What are you up to?"

"Oh, you know," he said, sitting down on the couch, "same old, same old. Trying to decipher about a third of Ethan's latest fifty-page geek ramble."

Tori chuckled. "Long e-mail?" She had met Ethan once before, but she understood Conner's remark.

"Oh, yeah." Conner poked at the Page Down key and sighed. "Once I finally got past the ten pages about how his classes are going, there was all the stuff about his latest video game, and I get the feeling he's only getting warmed up. What are you up to tonight?"

"Good for him." Tori grinned, shaking her head in amusement. She shrugged. "Not much. Attempting to write the guys to let them know what's been going on here. And that I'm okay."

"Aw, cool. Tell 'em hi for me, will you?" Conner clicked on a new email and laughed. "Speaking of which, Kira says hi."

"Sure thing." Tori nodded, and chuckled. "Cool, tell her I say hey back. How's she doing, by the way?" She missed the other rangers.

"Good. Little depressed though," Conner said sadly as he started up a reply that began with the words 'Tori's here and she says hi!!!!!' in capslock. "The New York thing isn't going as smoothly as she thought it would, and times are a little rough for her."

Tori grimaced slightly. "Oh, man. Yeah, that can't be fun. But I'm sure things will pick up for her soon." Nope, Tori's optimistic attitude didn't stay away for long.

She started off her e-mail to the boys with 'Conner says hi to you all!' Tori smiled. She was sure the boys would be happy to read that.

Conner grinned. "Oh, they'll pick up all right. Being a couple of years further in the future than where you're from has upsides. Like finding her first album for sale, not that I can tell her."

Tori laughed. "That's very true, I hadn't thought of that." She grinned. "Yeah, too bad. I'm sure she'd love to know."

"And then there was the night Bridge found her concert on TV," Conner added, his grin growing even broader. "That was awesome. She's gonna be huge, someday. I just gotta make sure she stays optimistic enough to do it."

"Wow. That's awesome!" Tori was amazed. "Yeah, definitely. But, I'm sure you can do it."
