4th Floor Common Room, Sunday Eve
John sat on one of the couches, snacks on hand, bottle of pop at the ready, flipping through the channels waiting for the Big Game and the commercials to start. He's totally not bribing people with food, nor does he have a sheet for the spread.

"Blitzball is amazing! OK, ok, ok, so. They fill this HUGE sphere with water, right?" She jumps off the couch to gesture frantically with her hands. "And there are five players plus a goalie, you know? And you have to pass the ball and take shots at the goal but the other players are allowed to tackle you or poison you or do a nap move that puts you to sleep. And if one of your players falls asleep you have to THWACK! them with the ball to wake 'em up! Just hope it's not your goalie! And Tidus could do this one sphere shot that just WHOOSH! It was unbelievable! And people get fixed at the half but other than that, boom, you're on your own! And everybody would go, to the big stadium in Luca, it was so huge!"

John leans forward in the couch. "Wait. So it's played underwater? How.. how do they breathe? ANd move? See, we've got sports like that. Hockey, placed on a field of ice, 5 guys plus a goalie try to get a puck into the goal. Soccer has a goalie, and a lot more people. Eleven. But it's all played on a field. Flat field. Without being underwater."

"Ooooh, they're kinda similar? Really!?? I'll have to remember that! Do we have any of those sports here?"

"Y'know? I don't think we do. FOrmal teams, that is. I could talk to some people, see what we can do. I know we had the basketball thing, which has a small elevated pole, played on a field, cuz, y'know, we're all about flat non-water playing fields. I might could fix up a team or two, see how it goes."
John gets exicted, thinking of getting teams together, seeing what could happen.

"Really? You think you'd be able to?" She bounced slightly. "I don't know how to play that, but I'd love to try. It sounds like fun!"
