Walter was... playing chicken with the couch?

He just wanted to get past it to get to the kitchenette, but every time he went around (and he's fast, mind you) either the couch would get in his way, the coffee table would knock him in the shins, or one of the chairs would run up behind him and knock the back of his legs to make him fall into it.

He was about to move on to jumping over everything and just standing on the kitchen counter.

Little did he know that the couch was ready for that with cushion missiles.

"It seems they've been getting tips from the laundry room." Walter got his leg free with a little grunt of triumph and got up to help Nadia get herself extricated from the chair's hold. Hopefully with her sock.

Nadia nodded, twisting around grab her own ankle, and bracing herself against the bottom of the chair with her other foot so she could get better leverage to pull.

The chair managed to suck her hands in and held on with surprising strength, so that she resembled good ole Brer Rabbit after he messed with the Tar Baby.

It spit her back out moments later though, sending her tumbling in a back somersault to sprawl on the rug.

Sans sock.

Now it was Walter's turn to giggle laugh.

Nadia stuck her tongue out a him.

Walter grinned and held out a hand to her. "Socks are unnecessary anyway."

"If my foot gets cold, I'm going to get my revenge on that chair," Nadia grumbled, taking Walter's hand, and then yanking to try and bring him down with her.

Chances were good he could have pulled Nadia up instead, but an excuse to (carefully) fall on her?

Nadia giggled, preferring to ignore the fact that the furniture might, in fact, be oggling them, and leaned up to kiss Walter on the nose.

If Walter had been annoyed by the furniture, he'd quite forgotten it in favor of other things. Like a sneaky bit of tickling she wouldn't be prepared for.

He'd caught her in exactly the sort of mood to be ticklish, too, so his efforts were rewarded with an "eep!" of laughter and a counter attack.

And that made his day. There would be much laughing and much tickling, and complete obliviousness to ogling furniture.

And not even a little bit of falling asleep.
