Second Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

The television had decided it had a mind of its own, or it was just glitchy. Every few minutes a new show would come on. First it was that crazy soap opera with the dummy/puppet boy, then it was Wormhole X-treme: Shangri-La, then Bitterwoman (of course).

Kawalsky was in the common room with a couple of pizzas, knowing that it was always wise to bring extra if you were going to eat in a public space.

Kawalsky hesitated, then spoke, "There's a question I wanna know the answer to, but I get the feeling if I ask, I'm gonna wind up webbed to the ceiling again."

Kawalsky stared and wondered whether he should be getting something to defend himself or call Aeryn to see how cool polar bears were.

He snickered. "I wondered. You don't seem like the booze type." He leaned over and kissed Alanna on the cheek. "So I hear there's some dance thing on this weekend," he said, playing dumb since they were both involved in organizing it.

Alanna blushed lightly. "Really? Another one? I must have missed all the announcments." Alanna played along. Faithful rolled his eyes and went to go converse with the polar bear.

"Yeah, me too, but it's been a busy week of ignoring homework and brushing up on my hand-eye coordination skills through video games, so some stuff's bound to get missed. So, y'know, we've gone to the last few dances together. Since we've started a trend and all, wanna go to this one with me as well? But if you've got yourself another date, I'm sure I could find someone else who'll put up with me."
