Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Morning

Aly had woken up very, very hungry.  And she didn't want to wake up Mommy.  That would be bad.

So instead she was very, very sneaky - she was going to be a spy after all and Daddy said she could be pretty too! - and crept out of the room until she found one of the big rooms with food in there.   She was awfully disappointed not to see Bridge making 'paghetti this time or Auntie Parkie with food though.

But there was food in the cupboards.  She knew it.  And that was why there was a weetiny blond girl carefully scaling the counter to get to the top cupboards where she just knew the good food was kept.

[OOC: Open, of course!]

"Benton's my friend," Aiden said happily. "He's really nice and has a dog that bounces."

She looked around carefully and beckoned Parker closer. She couldn't divulge her secret plans out loud, that would defeat the whole point.

"I have to meet this dog."

Parker leaned down, eyes wide, and bit her lip, looking interested as Aiden gestured at her.

"Benton said we should dump water on him," Aiden whispered conspiratorially. "I think we should hide bugs in his room while he's 'sleep. What d'you think?"

"Hmmmmm." Parker's eyes narrowed. "Well, he is my best friend. I should tell you that. But... I'd go with the bugs." Jarod would be thrilled. He might even start a collection. "Water's just messy. Bugs are more interesting."

Aiden eyed Parker skeptically. She didn't quite get why Parker would want to be best friends with him. The fact she gets on with Jarod quite well when she's older, doesn't seem to matter to her right now.

"I wanna do bugs," she said finally. "Giant bugs."

"Awesome." Parker nodded seriously. "You and Benton have fun with that." She grinned suddenly. "I always got him back when he beat me at things when I was younger."

"We will," Aiden said happily. "S' never gonna call me a stupid girl again."

"What'd he beat you at?" she asked. "Hes never beat me at anythin'"

"Tests. Math. Puzzles. Some games." Wow, that had been annoying, too. "But I surprised him a few times." Parker grinned suddenly, remembering a few suggestions that had Jarod staring at her wide-eyed. "You let me know how that turns out, okay?"

And M would probably feast on bugs, if nothing else.

"Uh-huh," Aiden agreed, smiling broadly at Parker. She seemed nice. Aiden didn't quite get how the Chad could think she was doing something naughty. "I'll come back later."

Parker snickered and went back to drinking coffee. She'd definitely have to ask Jarod about Aiden when he woke up, oh, yes.
