Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Morning

Aly had woken up very, very hungry.  And she didn't want to wake up Mommy.  That would be bad. 

So instead she was very, very sneaky - she was going to be a spy after all and Daddy said she could be pretty too! - and crept out of the room until she found one of the big rooms with food in there.   She was awfully disappointed not to see Bridge making 'paghetti this time or Auntie Parkie with food though.

But there was food in the cupboards.  She knew it.  And that was why there was a weetiny blond girl carefully scaling the counter to get to the top cupboards where she just knew the good food was kept.

Aly nodded thoughtfully. "Okay, I can do that. I don't wanna let the bad guys know anymore than I can help. 'Snot very sneaky to do that."

She beamed at Aeryn. "Daddy said he'd get me a sword!"

"He did, did he?" she smiles. "Is he going to show you how to use it?"

"He did! An' I think so. Or Zuko said he'd show me too," Aly nodded. "He's nice."

"I'm sure he is," Aeryn says, because she's never met Zuko and doesn't know any better. "And you're going to be very careful with it, right?"

"'M only gonna poke bad guys," Aly said with a nod. "An' I'll be sure to practice a lot like Mommy does."

"Maybe your mother will even help you," she says. And maybe her mother will kill Aeryn for suggesting it.

Aly beamed. "Bet she will! But I gotta ask her when she doesn't wanna kill something."

Aeryn smiles at that. "Be patient," she advises. "I should be going now, but be good, all right?"

"I will be!" Aly said, crossing her fingers behind her back. She ran up to hug Aeryn around her neck.

Aeryn hugs her back a little- that's three times for one kid, wow- and lets her go to stand. "I'll see you later," she says.

"Bye!" She waved as Aeryn left. "Remember! John's cute!"
