Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Morning

Aly had woken up very, very hungry.  And she didn't want to wake up Mommy.  That would be bad. 

So instead she was very, very sneaky - she was going to be a spy after all and Daddy said she could be pretty too! - and crept out of the room until she found one of the big rooms with food in there.   She was awfully disappointed not to see Bridge making 'paghetti this time or Auntie Parkie with food though.

But there was food in the cupboards.  She knew it.  And that was why there was a weetiny blond girl carefully scaling the counter to get to the top cupboards where she just knew the good food was kept.

Rose's eys widened in delight, "Really?" She bounced at the thought, "C'n I blow-up things too?"

"I would be totally okay with that. But the Student Council would have to re-paint, and people would be annoyed. And without money," Parker said. "So maybe not." She grinned. "Want some muffins?"

"Love muffins!" Rose exclaimed then reached out and hugged Parker's legs, "You're nice!" She looked up at Parker with big brown eyes, "C'n you take me to space?"

Parker was getting used to the leg-hugging, if no more thrilled with it. She sighed, then shook her head, grinning a little. "Maybe. Okay? Next time I have a spaceship. Because you promised to take me with you."

Oops. "At some point. I'll let you ride in my spaceship, if you return the favor." She smirked a little. "As long as you're careful, of course."

"I promise!" Rose said, chirping, then looked around, "'Ave you seen Jack? or Doct'r?"

"Nope," Parker shook her head, then paused. "Um. Is the Doctor a little kid?"

Rose giggled, "He 'as Big Ears!"

Not quite an answer, but close enough. "Nope, haven't seen him." She smiled. "Did you have fun playing with thim? And Jack?"

"Uh-huh!" Rose said, "He's my bestest mate ever, better 'an Mickey! An' Jack's me big brother! He's gonna be a cap'n!"
