Third Floor Common Room, Monday (After First Period)

Dawn wasn't sure whether there were any small adults around anymore or not, but, inspired by A.B., she decided that it couldn't hurt to make a full, non-sugar-based meal for both herself and anyone else who was around.

After a handwavey trip to All and Sundries, Dawn had water boiling and meat sauce heating (in separate pots) for spaghetti and she was busy chopping fresh vegetables to be eaten with dip if people wanted. There was also milk and lots of fresh fruit in the refrigerator.

"You should have done it when you had him tied to the chair," Dawn remarked, then decided that was a very pretty image.

Dean grinned at the slightly distracted look that Dawn was suddenly wearing. "You like the idea of Sammy bondage?"

Dawn blinked and cleared her throat. "Um...the mental picture's pretty?"

"You should tell him that," Dean encouraged. "He keeps telling me how shocked and apalled you'd be if he mentioned anything remotely about sex."

"I think we covered a little bit of that already," Dawn said, blushing.

"Go you," Dean encouraged her with a grin.

"Oh, shut up," Dawn tossed a carrot slice at him, "I already embarrassed the heck out of Sam and I by talking to Alec last week."

"Yeah, the thing about Alec is he has no shame."

"Huh, y'know, I got that, and apparently I don't have tons either, because I was blurting stuff out and asking questions I haven't even asked Sam, and then I realized I shouldn't have been, like, after the fact."

"Y'know, it's okay to ask questions of friends," Dean told her. "If Alec misbehaves about it, let me know and I'll straighten him out."

"No, he didn't misbehave," Dawn defended him, "Just that he's a lot more open about stuff than anyone else I know, so I got a lot of answers, which led to more questions, and there I was, having the most embarrassing conversation ever with my ex-boyfriend's current...whatever."
