Throughout the hallways of the dorms, Tuesday afternoon

Things have an unnerving tendency to get worse before they get better. So it shouldn't serve as too much of a surprise that Nadia had not just fallen asleep in the middle of the afternoon, but was, in fact, sleepwalking through the hallways of the dorms. Her eyes were open, she was walking a little bit slowly, but surely, and but for the occasional tendency to bump gently into things, she probably didn't seem to be that much unaware of what was going on around her.

She was definitely asleep, though, and occasionally muttering as she wandered.

Cassie eyed Nadia as she wandered. "Helloooo?"

Mr. Neilson jumps up onto Nadia's head.

Nadia didn't wave or anything, just kept wandering and muttered something about kissing robots.

Nadia seemed not to notice.

Cassie raised an eyebrow. "You've been kissing robots?"

Mr. Neilson knocks on the top of her head with his little monkey knuckles.

Nadia didn't answer directly, but grumbled something about dumb blondes, and almost bumped into Cassie as she went.

The mumbling turned a bit more annoyed, but otherwise, she didn't react.

"Okay, if you're gonna make fun of me, have the courtesy to address me," Cassie said, getting directly in Nadia's way.

This time, Nadia did bump into Cassie. Then she turned around and started walking the other way, never making eye contact or addressing Cassie directly, still muttering about dumb blondes kissing robots.

"Eep eep!"

No reaction. She did brush a bit too close to a corner as she turned toward the stairs, though.

"HEY!?" Cassie said. And reflexively grew about six inches.

And she got not a single reaction out of Nadia, who bumped gently against a wall before reorienting herself to walk more directly down the hallway.

The monkey jumped down to cling to the arm opposite the side that too close to the wall so that he could tug that sleeve and hopefully guide her away from bruising herself up.

Cassie marked Nadia down on her mental list of people to smack if she ever went evil.

Nadia continued on her sleepy way, entirely oblivious to the whole thing.

Nadia did, in fact, reangle slightly, though she was still heading straight for the stairs.

Mr. Neilson looked to see if they were the stairs going up or the stairs going down.

Stairs going down. And Nadia was reaching the top stair.

Mr. Neilson skitters around to her back and clings to her shirt, tugging on it and making high pitched distressed monkey noises.

No reaction. The first step has Nadia staggering a little, but after that, it's smooth, albeit slow, sailing down the stairs.

Mr. Neilson calms down and climbs back up onto her head.

Nadia stumbled again as she reached the landing, then walked straight for the wall.

Mr. Neilson gave a little monkey sigh.

She shifted around on her head, leaned over and shrieked in her ear, while bapping her in the face with his tail.
