Rooms 201, 227, and The Hallway In Between, Wednesday Afternoon (after classes)

Anders had gone down to the office to file for an official room change, and as soon as it was approved he ran straight up to the second floor and started emptying his dresser drawers into trash bags, stacking books into boxes, and detangling all the cords to his computer.

Of course, the whole trash-bag approach had been pretty quick, but as he quickly discovered when he started lugging them down the hallway to 227, it was pretty cumbersome as well.

Moving the fridge was going to be fun . . .

"He didn't say." Anders shook his head. "Must've been bad, if he wasn't talking about it."

"Oh yeah, I guess so." Tori agreed, wondering what had happened. "Any big plans for the weekend?" She smiled, knowing her weekend was packed. For once.

"Nah, I don't think so," Anders replied. "Not going home for the break or anything so I'll pretty much just be here. Moving a few more things around, getting settled in the new room, all that. How 'bout you?"

Tori nodded. "I honestly forgot that spring break was coming up. I'll probably end up going home, though I haven't decided yet." She smiled. "I know the guys will definitely want me to come home and tell them all about this place." She chuckled.

"Hopefully they're sitting down when you tell 'em," Anders replied. "Or maybe they'll all want to stow away with you when you get back!"

"I'll make sure of it." Tori took that into account. She laughed. "I'm sure they'd certainly try." Knowing them? She wouldn't put it past the boys.

They were boys. Therefore, in Anders's mind, it was completely and utterly logical to think they'd try. "Have fun. It's probably warmer where you'll be."

Tori smiled. "Thanks. It most likely will be." After all, it was California.
