Fifth floor common room, Afternoon after classes

Buffy had commandeered the common room kitchen and had set out all the ingredients she thought they would need for making cookings and other baked goods. She might have missed some stuff, but she definitely had everything needed to make toppings. Now all she needed was cooking companions.

Molly showed up with the recipes for cookies that she had made before. "Hey, Buffy!"

"Hi Molly!" Buffy smiled and gestured for the bench. "I tried to find everything I thought we'd need. Did I get it all?"

Molly looked at a couple of the recipes and then at what Buffy had set out. "Yep. It looks like we have everything we need."

"Great!" Buffy looked at Molly. "So.. Um, what do we do now?"

"We pick a recipe and follow the directions," Molly told her with a grin. "You said you wanted to make chocolate chip cookies, right?"

Buffy nodded. "Yup! I have chocolates." She held up a candy bar.

Molly tilted her head. "You bought chocolate chips too though, right?"

Buffy grinned. "Yes, but I got us chocolates too!"

"Oh, okay," Molly said with a grin.

She set the recipe for chocolate chip cookies on the counter. "The first thing we need to do is get all of our ingredients together and measure them out."

Buffy looked down at the recipe and grabbed some of the things needed. "Okay."

"I always try to make sure I have everything measured first so that I don't lose track or miss anything," Molly said as she started to measure out the flour.

"Oh, I guess that's smart." Buffy watched her.

"Hey, Molly!" Annette waved from her spot in the kitchen.

"Annette! Hi!" Molly waved back. "You ready for baking?"

She nodded, grinning wide. "I'm going to do my best. I think I am looking forward to frosting and decorating the cookies the most! Are you ready?"

"Yep," Molly said with a similar grin. "I love baking cookies."

"I never have." Annette admitted. "I'm doing the frozen dough thing. But I am going to decorate them! What kind are you making?"

"Chocolate chip is my favorite." She said with a big nod.

"Mine too," Molly said. "Those and chocolate snickerdoodles. And sugar cookies. Oh, and oatmeal raisin." She listened to herself and giggled. "Maybe I should just say I don't have a favorite."

Laughing, Annette added to that, "I love oatmeal chocolate chip, and peanut butter cookies and butter cookies, and those cookies with the thick whipped frosting between them." Her eyes grew round and her stomach growled. "Going to have to sample I think!"

"We should make a separate bowl of dough just for us to eat while we wait for cookies to bake," Molly said. "That is what I did when I made Christmas cookies this year."

"Molly! You are amazing cause that is just a brilliant idea!" She squeed. "I love chocolate chip cookie dough!"

Molly laughed. "We should get the second bowl ready then," she said. "Buffy's almost done mixing the ones we're going to bake."

"Okay, and I've already baked one tray of sugar cookies. They're cooling now and are just waiting to be decorated. Isn't it smelling good in here?"
