Fifth floor common room, Afternoon after classes

Buffy had commandeered the common room kitchen and had set out all the ingredients she thought they would need for making cookings and other baked goods. She might have missed some stuff, but she definitely had everything needed to make toppings. Now all she needed was cooking companions.

"Oh yes." Pippi grins. "I always make enough for that."

"Yay! Sampling during cooking is a must." Not that she really knew first hand. But she has seen enough cooking shows to know. "Do you decorate your cookies at all?"

"Oh of course! I got stuff for making icing too. And raisins for buttons."

"Aw, what I wouldn't give to be able to really cook like that. My frosting is coming from a can. But I am going to sprinkle them with little blue and yellow sprinkles!"

"Oooh!"

She grinned. "Think that sounds good?" Then next told her how she thought to wrap (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/1010015.html?thread=83334495#t83334495) them. "Do you think that will work, Pippi? Or did you have something in mind on how to wrap them up?"

"Oh that'll be so cute and hygienic!"

Annette nodded, giggling. "Yeah, definitely hygienic! I never thought of it like that!"

"Well, when you live with a horse and a monkey you have to think of these things."

"That little monkey is so cute, too! I got some great pictures of him. Did I ever tell you that?"

"No you didn't tell me, I'd surely love to see them. What was he doing?"

"He was watching tv and eating popcorn. I was hiding behind the tv and got some great pictures of him. Does he stay in your room?"

"Yes he does." Pippi nodded. "Old Man used to live up here too until they built the stable on the first floor."

"Was it difficult? I mean did he actually stay in your room?"

"Actually, he had his own room. With Mr. Neilson. 506... Which we took over." Pippi explained. "Yeah, he liked it in there, he had a good view and would often come out here to watch tv."

"That is so neat. Makes me wish I had a pet to keep in my room." She smiled and shrugged. "But I get to look after Poe while Cally is gone for two weeks so that is something."

"Oh he's so cute!"

"He is!" She agreed. "And he loves cheese doodles!"

Pippi is overcome by an adorable mental image of Poe eating a cheese doodle with cheese dust on his whiskers and fur.

She is unable to say anything but does make a little squeeky noise.

Annette giggled and just nodded her head at Pippi's noise. She assumed she was thinking the same thing. Cute!!
