Miley was bored. Bored enough that she actually opened one of her school books to study.

That was enough to convince her that she was in serious need of some TV time. So she flopped onto the couch in the common room and started flipping channels.

"Oooh! Hollywood scandals!"

Turtle bounced into the common room and plopped on the couch next to Miley. "Hi, roomie! Anything good on?"

"Famous people caught in embarrassing situations." Miley grinned at Turtle.

"Ooooooh," Turtle responded with enthusiasm. "I haven't missed anything too juicy, have I?" She looked around a little. "I should make some popcorn...."

"I'm thinking about ordering a pizza." Miley placed a hand over her stomach. "I'm starving."

"You've missed two Baldwin brothers, a Carter and one and a half Tom Cruise stories so far."

"I would definately be up for chipping in on pizza," Turtle nodded, and then considered the roster. "Hmmm. Well, you know there's going to be at least another Tom Cruise one, so that's not too bad."

"No one's even mentioned bald Britney yet, so we've got loads of time left." Miley whipped out her cell phone and dialed for pizza. "I'd like a large pie with pepperoni, ham and banana peppers."

"Turtle?" She asked, holding the phone out to her roommate.

But, of course they'd save that to the last.

"Uhhhhh...." Turtle thought for a moment. "Large, bacon an' sausage and pepperoni. And mushrooms."

"Mushrooms!" Miley took back the phone with a grin. "Can you add mushrooms to the first one too? Thanks!"

She rattled off the number of the credit card her Dad had given her before hanging up the phone. "Just consider it my treat tonight. They always deliver quicker if you pay by charge."

"Awesome," Turtle grinned and politely decided to disregard and forget the fact that her mind had automatically latched onto the number to record to her memory. "Thanks. I owe you one, then."

Mmmm, pizzza.

"Don't worry, I'm always hungry so it won't be hard for you to pay me back." Miley grinned and pointed at the screen where it was talking about stick thin starlets. "I'm never going to have to worry about being too thin."

"Oh, no kidding! Food is too good, and, yuck, that just looks gross, anyway. Might as well put clothes on one of those science room skeletons. Probably have a better personality than half those girls combined, too."

"No kidding. Paris is a total bitch but at least she's honest about it. You never never trust Lindsey at all." Miley said without thinking. "So two faced."

"Uhh..." Turtle realized she didn't really have much to put in on the dynamics of popular female interaction circles, especially not celebrity ones, so she just nodded with enthusiasm. "Totally."

"Of course it's not an issue now because Lindsey is Hollywood again and hanging out with the Olsens and Paris and couldn't be bothered to spend time with fellow musicians." Miley rolled her eyes. "Clique-jumper."

"Oooh, Hollywood scandals," Conner said, popping his head into the common room. "Anything on Kylee Styles in there?"

"...But Paris had a CD, didn't she? So she kinda counts..."

"Not yet, but we seem to be stuck in a Tom Cruise loop." Miley sighed. "But pizza's on the way and we've 23 more scandals to go!"

"Ha!" Miley laughed loudly. "Ha! Hahahahahaha! HAHAHA!"

"No. That doesn't count at all. Paris Hilton isn't a musician, no matter how many crappy cds she puts out."

"Him again? Boring," Conner said, dropping onto the couch. "How's it going, Miley? And -- pizza?"

"So, Lindsey's CD counts but not Paris? 'Cause I'd consider Lindsey more of an actress than a musician. And Paris?"

Turtle frowned a little with a moment of thought. "Paris is a good example of why most entrepeneurs should not have children..." If she had the kind of fortune the Hiltons did through their enterprise and her daughter acted like that? Nuh-uh, noooooo way.

"Conner!" Turtle proclaimed excitedly. That was kind of all she had to say about the matter, though.

"I guess. Lindsey just defected to the musicians side and then she flipped back. It's just not done." Miley pouted a little. "Plus Paris' cd sucked."

"I have no idea why the Hiltons let her get away with so much stuff. My daddy would have whupped me but good if he caught me doing a fifth of the crap she gets up to."

"It's going. We had tiny teachers in my music class today. I think it's the first time that I've actually done well in that class." Miley grinned. "Yup, two large pizzas should be here pretty soon. If you're nice to me and Turtle, we might even share with you."

Turtle shrugged a little; she didn't really know much about music.

"Same here...Maybe that's the problem, then? That they don't..."
