Tuesday Morning: 3rd Floor Corridor [2-27-07]
At some point Lana managed to get herself conscious enough to know that if she didn't find a way to get help, she'd probably die in her room. She managed to crawl to the door, then couldn't lift herself up enough to reach the doorknob. She scrabbled weakly at the door, trying to call for help, but knowing she wasn't making enough noise to be heard.
She lay there, gathering the last remnants of her strength, then reached up and grabbed the doorknob, pulling herself up enough to manage to open the door and fall out into the hallway. She crawled a few feet, then collapsed into unconsciousness once more.
[OOC: For Neil, though anyone's welcome to see her.]

"Lana?!" Neil shouted before he ran the last few steps and slid down beside her.
Touching her shoulder, he gave her a gentle shake. "Lana?"

She closed her eyes again. "Hurt. Can't move anymore. Can't."

Lana did not look good. It was hard to look directly at her bruised flesh and the smell of the blood in her hair was making him more than a bit queasy.
"This, is one of those times when having a dorm master would be useful." Neil said under his breath, trying to keep a hand on Lana while also looking for help.
There weren't too many options and with people either gone for the break or still asleep, Neil didn't even know who was still on the floor and who wasn't.
"Can you walk, Lana?" He asked. Stupid question but his brain was a bit scattered at the moment.

Well...if he couldn't get help to Lana, then he'd have to get Lana to help.
Straightening up, Neil gave her a quiet apology and then pushed his way into her room. Vaguely he noted that things seemed pretty much in order, not like she'd been attacked in her room or something but his focus was on stripping the blanket from her bed.
Coming back out into the hall, he lay the blanket down right beside her and then reached for her shoulders.
"I'm going to roll you onto this blanket, Lana and then try to get you down to the clinic."
Taking a deep breath and trying to give her a reassuring smile -which rather fell flat- Neil reached over and started to carefully shift Lana onto the blanket.

Once he had her secure on the blanket, Neil grabbed the ends and began to pull the blanket down the hall like a makeshift litter. But as he pulled, he became aware that Lana was really, really, really light.
So light that by the time he reached the steps, he didn't hesitate to bundled her up and then pick her up to carry her down the steps and to the clinic (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/289152.html?thread=7389568#t7389568).
